| do tell me [/b]what the hell is catholic about? please all you people who claim to be catholic tell me what your religion is all about? tell me why the hell you have to tell your sins to a preist so that the preist can "tell God" so that your sins would be forgivien! tell me why it is that you catholics beleive that you have to do good things to get you into heaven!!! cause you know that the whole reason that jesus christ came down to this earth to die for our sins, and if you say that the only way to get to heaven is by doing good deads then the purpose of jesus is compleatly useless!!!!! if that was true, that you had to do good things to get to heaven makeing jesus useless, then the whole base of christanity, what catholisism is based off of is completly unnessesary!!! jesus unnessesary? i dont think so.. also you can never be good enough to get in to heaven!!!! so dont try, that is what jesus is for!!! tell me one more thing why is it that you catholics take such offence when people comment or dissagree with you when you dont even know what the hell it is that you believe in!!! please argue with me!

you mean catholicism? Learn how to speak miss animal. Catholicism is based on the belief that God created the universe and rules over it, and that he sent his son Jesus Christ to Earth in order to save us from our sins.

A priest by definition is "A person having the authority to perform and administer religious rites." Confession is a "religious rite". "We do not tell the priest our sins so that th priest can 'tell God' ", we confess our sins to the priest so he can ask for forgiveness for us and give us repentance to pay, as they were so ordered by Jesus Christ.

We believe that it is our duty to help those who are in need, is that a bad thing? Is it terrible that we feel that we must try to improve bad situations? If so what's with you?

Because you're wrong we have a strong knowledge of what we believe in. And maybe there are some who don't, but that's because they haven't been taught yet. Each religion is taught whether you like it or not.

But one thing...we dont' teach that our good works save us. We teach that we are saved in order to do good works.
Let me put it this way: Do you believe that you have to love Jesus to get into heaven? I do. Otherwise, what would even be the point of being in heaven?
Let me also ask you this: what is your definition of love? Is it a feeling? Do we have to feel strong affection for Jesus to get into heaven? Or do we have to follow what it says in 1Corinthians 13?
