| Yes. I could eat food that doesn't need electricity, I could survive without the net, phone, tv and straightners. It's not hard to survive one day, how do you think people in countries without much electricity survive? | 0 @ 29-09-2003 18:02 Darling15 | 8,440 posts
| i can live without it. i do. every week. im jewish so on saturday we cant use eelectricity and we all make it thru the day. amazing aint it? | 0 @ 29-09-2003 18:04 FeederFanatic | 1,994 posts
| Yeah i suppose so. I don't think i'd last more than a week so yeah a day would be okay. | 0 @ 29-09-2003 19:20 IrishMeg1 | 21,216 posts

| I think I could...but it would be really hard!..I live in italy and saturday night all a total black-out had been in all the Country...I was at a party and it was difficult even to walk...just in candle-light.. | 0 @ 29-09-2003 19:25 Cheater138 | 19,052 posts
| I can and I know that for a fact. I had to for a week last winter cuz we had a big ice storm that broke power lines all over the area. I was one of the last people around here that got it back but in smaller towns around here they didn't have it back for almost 2. Not something I wanna do again. It's really boring, especially when it's cold outside. | 0 @ 29-09-2003 19:41 muddytoes | 811 posts
| I lived a day without electricity when there was the blackout in the US and Canada. Me and my friends did other stuff and we survived just fine! | 0 @ 29-09-2003 19:41 stupot | 14,962 posts

| I don't see why one day is such a big deal. A week wasn't that bad. I can understand maybe a few weeks or a month, or even living without it. But a day, that's nothing. | 0 @ 29-09-2003 19:45 Egginator | 15,398 posts
| oh you can still eat and drink without electricity | 0 @ 29-09-2003 19:45 Rock71 | 4,639 posts

| CD's can be listened to on a portable cd player. Although when it went out here that week a few of my favorites were stuck in the one that needed electricity so I couldn't get them. lol | 0 @ 29-09-2003 19:49 talula68082 | 6,078 posts
| yea, one day definitely isn't a big deal, i've done it before and i could do it again.. | 0 @ 29-09-2003 19:52 Cheater138 | 19,052 posts
| O and think about how much you sleep in one day. 8-10 hours maybe more. lol That's close to half of the day. If I had nothing else to do that's what I would prolly do without power again. lol | 0 @ 29-09-2003 19:53 muddytoes | 811 posts
| It was funny because once our power came back on we went to go tell the people outside and then we didn't rush back inside to watch T.V and play video games. We sat outside for another hour and talked and stuff. It wasn't bad at all and it was actually pretty fun! | 0 @ 29-09-2003 20:45 MyOwnEnemy | 351 posts
| OK... If anyone had been there during the Blackout at the end of the summer, you'd really realized, WE COULDN'T SURVIVE WITHOUT ELECTRICITY!!!!!!!!! | 0 @ 29-09-2003 20:47 NightShade | 2,772 posts
| The sad thing is, most people probably couldn't survive without electricity. I might be one of those people, although I'd like to think that I'm not. | 0 @ 29-09-2003 20:59 radiate86 | 3,311 posts
| I honestly think I could. I've gone camping for a week without it, so I don't see why I couldn't go a day. That's what batteries and candles are for. | 0 @ 29-09-2003 20:59 ViSioN | 4,030 posts
| i could but i wouldnt be happy about it. | 0 @ 29-09-2003 21:16 NightShade | 2,772 posts
