I don't think being gay or same sex marriage is a fad or trend. You can't just wake up and decide your gonna be gay today
Love is love. it does not see you for your age, sex, nor race.If you love someone and your willing to make that commitment then more power to you.
Adoption on same-sex parents:
Some people are propably old fashion and think its wrong but it really isn't. Having two mom or two dads isn't gonna make the kid gay. I mean come on and think about it. I'm not saying that's a case against adoption for homosexuals and I'm not saying that I even think homosexuals are more likely to be abusive or unloving. That's just the number.
Also, the concern isn't about the kid turning gay. That's ridiculous and anyone with a brain acknowledges that. Sexuality isn't due to parenting, otherwise all straight parents would have straight children and there'd be no gay people. Or hardly any. The concern that the people who are against this (again, this is just what I know about the viewpoint of that side, I'm personally undecided) is that the children are going to be lacking in a family and become confused. NOT about their sexuality, but about where they come from. | I got it from a video we watched in class, actually, and I don't remember the name. It seemed very good though, it wasn't against homosexual marriage at all, it actually supported it in ways. But I can ask my teacher, if I see him, what the video was called and where they got their sources. |
