20,306 posts	Please read ALL of the instructions before submitting your nominations When i inherited the job of Super-mod from Matt, i had forgotten about the forum awards, which he put quite a bit of labour into. Sierra reminded me a few weeks ago that we should get this show back on the road, and with that i present to you lovely people the 2006? Forum Awards (you'll note how much of this I copied from Matt's thread last year, with minor tweaks). Anways, I hope you'll all participate and make this one as successful as the last few As usual, there will be a round of nominations to determine the final voting ballots. After a period of one week, I'll tabulate the nominations and post the final voting ballots for you to vote on. For now, let's begin the nomination round. ------------------------------------------------------------------- HOW TO PARTICIPATE ____________________ Step 1: Copy the list of categories (provided immediately following these instructions) into a private message addressed to Fishmunky. Step 2: Title the message "Forum Awards" (So i don't get excited and think that you actually wanna chat and just get lists and depression) Step 3: Write the names under each category for whoever you believe is a suitable nominee to be on the final ballot. You may nominate as many different people as you wish for each individual category. Step 4: Click send, and I thank you for your participation (implicitly)! Note - You do not have to complete every category. Just do what you can. USE PROPER FORUM NAMES. Don't say "Danny" or "Matt" or use anyone's real name because more than one person may have the same name, and sometimes I don't remember everyone's screen name, so write those. If you wish to add or remove any nominations to any category after you have already sent in your original nomination, do not hesitate to send more. Most Attractive Female Forumer SEXY GIRLS!!! Laura Tiffany Beddingfield Memorial Award (most helpful/nicest forummer) Self-explanatory Best Shoulder to Cry On Awarded to the forumer who is most commonly the easiest to talk to for those in times of distress. Biggest Flirt Self-explanatory Most Mature Forumer Self-explanatory Most Popular Forumer Self-explanatory Funniest Forumer Self-explanatory Most Artistic Forumer Awarded to the forumer who is the most talented in relation to the arts. Singing, performing, composing, dancing, drawing, sculpting, painting, photography. Any of these are criteria for your nomination(s). Most Intellectual Forumer Self-explanatory Most Perverted Forumer Self-explanatory: Best Forum Name Self-explanatory Most Pleasantly Eccentric Forumer Awarded to the forumer who is the most quirky in a good way. Can apply to personality, appearance, interests, or lifestyle. Most Missed Forumer Awarded to the forumer who is no longer a regular part of the LetsSingIt.com forum, yet is missed most. Forumer Most Likely to Never Leave the Forum Self-explanatory Forumer You'd Most Want to Meet in Person Self-explanatory Best Couple/Most Likely to be a Couple Self-explanatory. Please nominate in the form of coupled forumers. (example: Ray/Plantagenet) Diamond in the Rough Awarded to the forumer who is seldom given as much credit as he/she deserves. Super Newb (Best New Forumer) Here's how the "rookie of the year" category will work, you get to nominate the forumer who was a relative unknown before the last awards, but is now a significant member of the site that you couldn't imagine not being here now The Andro Award (Most Cultured Forumer) Awarded to the forumer who is most appreciative of the arts, of languages, of the customs and traditions of the world. The Dekar Award (Most Positive Contribution to Forum Life) Self-explanatory ------------------------------------------------------------------- THE NEW DEADLINE TO SEND IN YOUR NOMINATIONS IS NEXT TUESDAY JULY 31ST. 20,306 posts	I'll take it into consideration for next year danny i think people are forgetting, that you dont have to nominate just one person per category, you can nominate as many as you like, this is the prelims for nominations, later we do the full on voting for the awards (just something i've noticed only like 3 people have nominated several names per category)
