Probably the best movie I've seen all summer. Maybe all year.

I didn't want to watch it initially, because I didn't like it. And I havn't seen any of the first 3 parts of Die Hard. Which all my friends were shocked to hear And you would think "How can you not like a movie that you havn't watched?". Well, how can I have a high opinion of something I havn't watched it? =P Ofcourse, it works both ways

A tad over 2 hours, but really good. Probably the best out of the 4.

What do you say?

*Shock Horror*

You've not seen any other Die Hard? Possibly the best Action movies in the world.

I haven't see Live Free or Die Hard yet, but I plan to. I love Bruce Willis.

mmmmm! Bruce....

First of all; how?

And you would think "How can you not like a movie that you havn't watched?". Well, how can I have a high opinion of something I havn't watched it? =P Ofcourse, it works both ways
I would indeed think. Generally I would expect someone to have no opinion on it before they've seen it.

Probably the best out of the 4.
Again, given that you havent seen Hard, Harder or With A Vegence; how?

I'll see it, but I've got low expectations - the trailers dont fill me with confidence. It seems to me the franchise has sold out to the special effects bug, something which Die Hard traditionally shyed away from and prospered for.

I've only seen parts of the original 3.. and I couldn't tell you which was which if you played parts of them for me. I was, after all, only 2 when the first came out and still watching Disney movies when the 3rd came out. So I've been limited to catching them on TNT/HBO on occasion. My husband wants to see this one though, so I guess we'll see how it goes.

You know, I've never really thought of myself being a Die Hard fan...

... but then I saw the trailer for 4.0 ... I was VERY excited...

... I've seen the majority of the first 3, but I really, REALLY want to see this film... and it makes me realise just how kool the series is...

... ROLL ON!

To Rise:

Basically, I'm not a DVD person. I'll only watch movies in the theatre, no time for DVD's and TV has shitty movies on 95% of the time. I still havn't watched movies like bad boys, rush hour, fast & furious. To name a few

And I could be entitled to have somewhat of an opinion because I can tell how great movies are from the trailers. And plus my opinions are based on my friends'. Or reviews

No, you can have perceptions of movies from trailers. Not fully formed opinions. I.E, Im thinking Die Hard 4 will be a blow out from what I've seen advertised, but I could be wrong.

Incidently. See Bad Boys 2. This is a nice car. Dan Marino should definately buy this car...

The first Die Hard movies have entertained me but never really grabbed my attention

but there's something about this newest installment that makes me really want to see it, perhaps this weekend?
