816 posts	I think you should name your cat according to what you like or after something that means something to you...not after something that means something to someone else. It's YOUR cat...and what's the point in having someone else name it for you.

5,933 posts	Well, I name my pets based on their looks or character all the time, really. For example.. Xorro. And you can probably see why he's named that way, even though that's a retarded pose.

192 posts	Mine is Aramis. I name my animals after characters from movies, books etc. A cat musketeer, a water turtle named Morla (from neverending story), two ordinary turtles, one named Quijote and the other Sancho and three fishes named Flora, Fauna and Merryweather.

154 posts	Hey man! I don't expect you to name your cat any of these, but I had cats named Tibbs, Shark-Victim-Ken, Minus, Luncheon, Aids & Finneous (said: finny-iss). I like the idea of Potatoes which someone mentioned earlier - you should probably pick that!

2,652 posts	My previous cats have been named: Ralph Pongo Whiskers Stripes Max Fred Oliver Teeko Elmo Sgt. Tibbs Milo Binx Lucky Holly Mo Tom and my current cat is named Jerry, which is alright, but it was better when we had Ben too.
