| Ok I'm not too sure on my fantastic 4 comic book history but i hope some of you will know... In this movie They are making the silver surfer a bad guy as you see in the previews. But from what i always thought that the silver surfer was a good guy. If someone could answer this it'd be great , also i'd like to know everyones opinion on the upcoming movie and any other marvel movies or movie sequels that are coming out in the near future

| From my very brief knowledge of this, I think the Silver Surfer was originally bad more or less because of a misunderstanding of other races and what not. Also, I think he was the slave of some big galactic evil dude, so that might account for his actions.

| nah Silver Surfer has been a bad guy in Fantastic Four for as long as i could remember. and in the most of the recent comic book movies they've been sticking true to what the comics do and say.

| Silver Surfer, although helping Galactus find planets that he can devour, isn't technically a bad guy. His Name, before being transformed into the silver surfer, was Norrin Rodd or Radd, i can't remember. Pretty Sure it was Radd. On his home planet he was an astronomer and saw galactus coming or something and made a deal with him that he would help Galactus find other planets to eat if he spared Norrin's. Galactus then gave him the "Power Cosmic" which made him look like he was made of Silver and gave him some pretty alright powers.
So really, he's a good dude, just made to bad things for the sake of his planet. i could tell you more about him but it would probably spoil some of the movie. that's if they stick to the proper story, which they don't seem to do with many of the Marvel Comic To Film movies. Plus, i'm sure Wikipedia.com has heaps about him.

| ok i just seen the movie last night and it seemed like from what everyone told me on here that they stuck to the comic story pretty well about the silver surfer ... i really liked the movie actually and was better than i thought it would be..
What did everyone think about it who has seen it? |
