| ((I'm not that great at poetry, I haven't seriously written any in a few years, but I thoguht I would try it again. So please tell me what you think.))
I watch in silence as he steps towards me
His green eyes are cold as he looks down
Tears fall from my eyes as he begins to tell me good-bye.
I turn away and pray it is just a nightmare.
I turn back to see him leaving me;
Why does this always happen to me?
Every time I find something to call mine;
I soon am forced to say good-bye
I stare in shock
As he walks off
into the dark night
I retreat to my room
And hold on to my pillow tight
Wondering why he truly left
In my hand I hold a rose
The first gift he ever gave me
Ten years have passed
I lay in my bed
He left me with no hope
and i just couldn't cope
Here I lay in my bed
Thinking of him
As I am slowly reaching to the dead
By my side lays his gift
The first rose he gave me
Withered, and dead
It is just like what is left of my heart
Now I truly know
That his words were real
My flesh goes cold
As I begin to realize the real truth
Good-Bye Can Kill |

| It's sad,which I'm sure it was meant to be- considering your personal pain.
I really dislike any (what I consider)negative writing like this because: I've
had my "death" by a woman I sincerely loved, so, I can relate to this all TOO
closely.
As for seperating myself from the scar, and, just rating your piece(which IS what you asked for), I believe you did a pretty GOOD job.  |
