| She dreamed of classic romance.
Dances under the stars, poems and flowers.
She watched romantic comdedies and read love stories.
She wished for her prince charming to come rescue her from her life.
She wanted ever-lasting, un-dying love.
She waited and prayed every day for it.
She had gotten beaten down and thrown around.
All by a man who claimed to love her.
She didn't give up hope.
She never lost faith.
One day, on her walk home, she crossed paths with a striking young man.
Her eyes sparkled, and she couldn't help but smile, when he asked her her name, and told her he'd call her.
She made plans that night with this charming man,
A candle lit dinner, dancing under the stars, and walking hand in hand.
She tried to leave her husband that night, but he put up a fight.
he beat her worse than before, beat her until she could breath no more.
She had nearly caught her dream, but caught stuck in a brutal reality.
