di-hydrogen = 2 hydrogen atoms
mono-oxide = 1 oxygen atom

add them together and you get H2O = water.

Wonderful chemistry isn't it?

Sorry if this is posted twice and yeah chemical names and symbols are known throughtout the world like how, if you play an instrument, you can read music in different countries but still know what it means. Same concept.

duh.. di means two so it is two hydrogen molecules and mono means one so it's one oxygen molecule.. that forms H2O.. best known as water
