Ever since the first time i heard it, i have loved the lyrics to "between angels and insects" by Papa Roach.

I just think its such a good song, and the lyrics tell the truth, that too many people only see the importance of material things, and not of those things in life that really matter.
Other lyrics i love include, alkaline trios "private eye"

I knew there'd be a topic for this... even if the one I've found does appear to be 7 years old. There's possibly a more recent one somewhere, but oh well.
Currently I have a post-it of these lyrics next to my laptop:

The lines can be from any song at all, it could be 'ten green bottles standing on a wall' if you can tell me why that's such a fabulous lyric. No matter how simple, I'd like to know.
My lines of choice are from a little-known song called Wired to the Moon by a little-known band called The Revs.

I just like that verse because it sums up the song.
He loves this girl and it doesn't matter that she's crazy, at least not to him. I think you get a good idea of the singer and his girlfriend from that verse. Maybe it's just me. But I really love those lines.
Also, it's quite funny to think of someone talking to a cup of tea. Or maybe it's just me again.
