When I was younger I read this really nice, sort of cutsie, book. I absolutely loved it and read it all the time. It was about a woman who had a son shortly after losing her husband. Then her babysitter kidnapped the child and took him to her husband to raise. She was killed in a car accident and her husband raised the child thinking it was his own until the boy turned seven when he was diagnosed with cancer. The father set out to find the real mother and brought her to her son. The son was upset by all this, so the mother and the man got married to try to calm him down so he could recover from the cancer. Well, they end up falling in love. It was a really beautiful book, but I cannot find it anywhere. I have tried just about everything, including searching nearly every bookstore and website known to man. I could really use some help. I'm not certain, but I believe that the book was called "For Her Son's Sake" and I don't remember who wrote it.
