and no, i dont "fear" it. if youre sensible about stuff.. you shouldnt have to worry.
- my myspace password is different to that of every other site i use.
- my email address is my hotmail one, ebay and paypal use my "business" email address which only i have. and the password is really complicated, and very different to any other password i use.
- I can usually recognise spam, and i can never usually be arsed to watch "awesome" videos anyway, but if on the offchance i do, i make sure that it says login.myspace at the top, if not, i quit the browser.
- i have no personal information on myspace whatsoever, apart from my name, and thats not visible to people anyway. i dont have personal information about friends like their names or addresses or anything like that, because im sensible, and make sure that its hard for people to steal my identity.
so, people cant hack into my paypal and ebay accounts, because i use a totally different email address and password for them. people cant hack into my hotmail account for personal info, because a) theres nothing there anyway and b) its a different password. |
