Adema, P.O.D, System Of A Down and Nirvana?

What do you think about these four bands? Adema are quite new and have a song called"The Way You Like It." P.O.D have released a great song called "Youth Of The Nation." System of a down have to great songs, "Chop Suey" and "Toxicity." Nirvana have had a great past but my favourite song of theirs is... "Smells Like Teen Spirit."

Adema 7/10 The Way You Like It 8/10
P.O.D 8/10 Youth Of The Nation 8/10
System Of A Down 9/10 Chop Suey 7/10 Toxicity 8/10
Nirvana 9/10 :-) Smells Like Teen Spirit 10/10

3 posts	them bands r ok,nirvana and soad absoloutly rock, but u need to listen to some older sons by them,try suggestions or sugar or infact buy the first soad coz its alot better the toxicity,also nirvana in utero is the best album,every song on that album rocks. struggle is a good adema song,and giving in. if u like these bands check out these ones: soundgarden, pearl jam, korn, disturbed,afi(coz everyone should love them) NIN,hundred reasons, faith no more,suicidal tendencies, etc

219 posts	How can you associate SOAD with that TRASH! Adema suck ass, Nirvana are little better. P.O.D. is a good band...if you like shit.

3 posts	How the hell can you compare those bands?!?!?!?!?! Nirvana is the inspiration for pretty much ALL the new punk bands around, they can't be compared when they are the start!

61 posts	Nirvana is the best band ever. Their music will never die. Anyways, I never liked POD. They're just annoying... They say that they're Christian and they rock. Sure whatever. System of a Down have unique stuff but they're not for me. They're too... odd? I dunno, I just dont' like them. Adema's okay. I've only heard them once. Nothing really special though. They gotta have catchier tunes to get more attention. Well, that's my input of the four bands.

6 posts	I only like Adema out of that lot of bands, the way you like it is my fav song by them, SOAD sucks, P.O.D. are the most annoying band to come out, that youth of the nation song is highly annoying and Nirvana well i never was into them and don't really know what they were really like anyway.

12 posts	Ya gotta at least respect P.O.D. for what they did, whether you like them or not. For a Christian band to breakthrough that huge into the mainstream -- man, that's just incredible.

23,369 posts	POD is so awesome.. because they did make it in a mainstream that doesn't stand on what they are singing about.. most bands can't even stand with covers.. but they are doing something that many others are afraid to, it's great Nirvana will always rock System of a down is great old and new.. and Adema gets better with every song..

14 posts	Ok Nirvana Rocks, plain and simple. SOAD is good, especially the song ATWA, POD are ok, Southtown is better then they're newer album, and they are good at getting the crowd hyped and the pits are pretty good when they come on, but I personally don't like Adema

2 posts	Basically, all of you are trying to outdo eachother by saying that you can't compare Nirvana to SOAD...and you're right, you can't, but not because "one is greater than the other" simply because they are different music styles. Why don't you just accept that everyone has a different music taste?! As for me, I like pretty much a mixture...has anyone tried listening to Adema - "Giving In"? It's a good song. Yes, Nirvana & SOAD are good. Ooooh, dude smileys! and (Me in love...hehehe) and oh! a funky clown There ya go! Take care y'all, Georgie xxxx

162 posts	I am in love with P.O.D. and I was listening to them well before YOTN (youth of the nation). Southtown, Rock the Party, Freestyle...some of the greatest songs on their first hit cd 'The Fundemental Elements of Southtown'. Now they are finally getting the recognition they deserved years ago. They are one of the first, if not the first christian band to hit it big like this with the hit singles and the platinum records and everything...If you dont like em, fine, nobodys perfect, but at least respect em and give em a little bit of credit...

23 posts	My opinion is Adema- they are ok, there isn't anything special about them, a lot like Linkin park, POD- they have a couple good songs, most are really bad/anoying System-their first cd was better, it had more better songs than thier second Nirvana- Good lyrics, BAD music

572 posts	nothing beats Nirvana. they made the best music, the lyrics were deep and Kurt's voice is just magic. Adema - are great... i like "giving in"... course "the way you like it" too, but that's prolly the only song ppl know of them, so check out giving in. POD - don't like them really.. juz youth of the nation. System of a Down - now there's good music. Toxicity is a great album and nothin beats chop suey!

23 posts	i'm sorry but i must disagree with you about nirvana, kirt cobain could not play gutair, and because of that the band had simple music, i do agree with you that he wrote songs well. And yes i know all of adema's songs, i burned the cd from a friend of mine but it isn't something that i would spend money on

5 posts	it seems weird to compare all those bands b/c, while you can label them all rock, they have very different styles (its kinda like trying to wear two different shades of the same color). personally, im all about POD b/c they are a rocking group that you can admire off-stage as well. it seems more and more "stars" are being corrupted with drug problems, etc, etc. hey, if thats your thing...nothing but love. but you still have to respect others for standing for what they believe in. i like soad and nirvana's music but i dont really look up to them as people. anyway, thats my two cents. we all have opinions. love.

5 posts	sorry...i forgot something... if you dont like POD's new stuff, check out "snuff the punk" and "the fundamental elements of southtown". theyre pretty different from "satellite". "snuff" is pretty punk, while, "TFEOS" is more hardcore/rapcore. love.

169 posts	all the bands are good bands. the reason you think one sucks is that you only heard one song of theirs, didn't like it, and automatically think they suck. system of a down is a very good band.
