I managed to miss Glastonbury, V2002 and Reading/Leeds festivals (the 3 big UK festivals) this year because of exams/work/lack of money at booking time, so anyway, I wanna make up for it by going to as many live gigs as poss.
Was wondering if anyone had seen a particular band live that was great and if anyone had any recomendations at all, I could see if they were touring over here. I am into indie, hip hop, rock mainly.

PS: I'll start it - best band I've seen live recently = The Strokes - must go see!

Default is horrible live band...anyways thats my opinion. Great live bands: bush, darwins waiting room, nonpoint, thursday, crossbreed.

yeah Bush are great live, I saw them last year.
Come on people - great music lovers like yourselves must all get out and go to gigs every now and then??!!! lol.

I've seen bush 3 times and they get better everytime. They put on an amazing show.

When I saw Greenday they scared the shit out of me - they burned their whole set (Reading festival 2001) and I was only a matter of metres away and.. slightly worried bout the whole fire thing!!! I could've done with that drum kit n'all.

Seether, Earshot, and Mad at Gravity are all good. There are a couple of others, but they're either not on tour, or local.

damnit i wish greenday woulda burned shit at the concert that i went to... lol. um... good charlotte is awesome live. i just saw mest homegrown and catch22 live and they were awesome too.

Man! I can't believe sum of u guys saw GC and Linkin Park live! Ugh! Nobody good ever comes to Guam! The last musical acts we had that came here were Eden's Crush (ya know, the POPSTARS) and Shaggy. Maaannn! I really want to see GC in concert!

KASHMIR!!!

Maan, they just go crazy live (it's hard to imagine that they can get any crazier, but they do...)

And for once, there is a singer who sings just as well live as he does on the albums.

KASHMIR - Must hear!! (keewl it rhymes )
