I first heard this on American Idol last week when Fergie sang it live.
I was very impressed. It's a terrific song compared to "Fergalicious" or "Glamorous". |

I was completely shocked when I heard this. FERGIE SUNG (idk if she wrote it but either way) A SEMI-DEEP, PERSONAL SONG THAT DOESNT HAVE TO DO WITH GUYS WANTING TO HAVE SEX WITH HER/BEING RICH! Wow! It was actually really good! There is hope for Fergie yet. |

Even though they are very stupid, I love Fergie's songs. They are so good to dance to and have a great time.
I lovee this song and I can her it a thousand times. But definitely not Fergie's style. I prefer the i'm rich, i'm sexy, it's-all-about-me songs she has. |

I've heard that people are talking about Fergie's voice and how she sings this song. Well, I think her singing is great in this song. I think people are criticizing her because it's not that kind of a song we are used to hear her sing.
I especially like her voice when she sings the chorus.
Just to take some examples:
"Like a child misses their blanket" - she's using the exact right intonations and emphasis.
"Cos I want to hold yours too" - great. Just really great.
You really get the song's message when you listen to her voice.  |
