First of all I just wanna make it clear that I'm not tryina offend anybody. I love and feel for all people, I dont care if they're gay, bi, str8 or whatever. I'm NOT a homophobe. Here goes my two cents:

Now my theory is that God has created man with the potential of either being good n go to heaven or being bad n go to hell. Life is like a stage where humans are tested to either fail or pass. God has created us with alot of emotions, desires, needs and so on. For example, I'm sure at some point of our lives, all we wanted to do was party, drink and sleep around. However, not all of us did so. Some of us chose not to do so *eventhough they would've loved it* because they feared God. They didn't wanna commit any sins.

So when it comes to homosexuality, I think lots of us would wanna try it with the same sex, even once just for experiment's sake. I also think if you were exposed to same sex relationships from an early age and if you thought that it's an option you might grow up believing you are gay. I'm not saying that gay people are lying when they say they get turned on by somebody from the same sex. Actually I think its lame to think they're all lying, or they're all seeking attention. I do believe them when they say it. Plus lets face it, being gay isnt as easy as being str8, so why would anybody claim being gay and accept going through all the crap w/o really being one? So my point is.. gay feelings are normal.. some people have it stronger than others...but the thing is.. life is a test from God.. so even if you have such feelings you gotta fight them so you'd pass the test and go to heaven.. thats the point from this life.. to live by the rules set by God.. I know pple who dont believe in God find this totally silly and I'd prolly think the same if I didnt believe in God but the thing is I do so.. It's impossible to understand why we were created or what for exactly but that's what faith is all about. If you have the faith you'll stop asking so many questions and just accept it.

Being gay in my opinion is like any other thing. It's a sin, like not wanting to pray, we all know praying is not fun but we have to in order to go to heaven.

I hope I didnt offend anybody, I really wasnt trying to. I have nothing against gays. I know most people will bash my humble theory but I dont care, thats what I think. I respect your viewpoints so please respect mine.

9,665 posts	As much as I believe in God, I don't know what he truly believes. And no one does. Everything is in condradiction. If you reject gay people, you're following "the rules" but by rejecting someone you're breaking "the rules". So yeah no one knows and you might wanna leave it that way.

1,136 posts	I don't know what he truly believes. And no one does. Well I think that what God believes in is written in the Bible, Qu'ran or whichever other Holy book that you believe in. And ironically enough, in the Bible, Qu'ran and other holy books, homosexuality is considered a sin.

You said it yourself, what's right and what's wrong... From whose opinion though? God? or saints? Saints supposedly follow God, why would they write a book to oppose his opinion?

All I'm trying to say is that it's a sin, like any other sin. We are all sinful, so why do we str8 folks 'diss' gays coz they sin when we all sin?!

1,136 posts	Well you see I'm not trying to preach. I'm not trying to shove my beliefs into their throats. Yes I believe if they don't change this they will probably go to hell but so will a liar or a cheater... I'm not comparing homosexuality with 'lying' or 'cheating' but sin wise its the same.

God doesnt care about you except when you are born and when you die. god doesnt answer prayers, case in point, New Orleans and Indonesia. i could only imagine how many people have prayed that God creates a mircale. and guess what? he hasnt. if God is so good why would he let hundreds of thousands of "his children" just die? makes no sense. thirdly, get off your God trip. you said at the beginning you dont discriminate against gays but at the end you say its sin? make up your mind.

Koran, human, Bible, Human, Torah, you guessed it regardless of what religion you follow you are following an interpretation made my another friggin person, like or not, i dont care what you believe or what faith you practice or what miracles you believe happened firsts things first all religion is man made and to say other wise is a sheer sign of denial of reality second, religion is not about faith, faith is about faith, its why we have the word faith, again i dont give 2 shakes of a rat's ass about what you believe faith denotes what you believe, religion is the rules and regulation set to control what you believe third. religion is tool for control, many philosophers, ancient and modern have seen religion as a tool used to bind a nation, get enough people to believe that a higher power is dictating their lives and bam you have control, if you still dont bewlieve me google Machiavelli, prince, armed prophets and see if you recognize anything fourth. iof there is a god by comtemporary religious standards and texts, he or she is quite vain, insecure and pretty damn bossy, he can have no false idols, worship no gods before him and he's constantly looking for sacrifices...s/he thinks awful highly of him/herself no? in addition to that what we eat, who have sex with, when we're allowed to have sex, what we have to do on certain days of weeks and months are already dictated by this deity...i mean my work schedule is more flexible than this, i mean we constantly have to look to him for guidance, we're expected to pay homage at least twice a day and gather to do so at least once a week...i've heard of patting yourself on the back but forcing the people your supposed to love to perform ego fellatio on you on a daily basis is kinda pushing dont you think...you wouldn't put up with this crap from anyone else would you? fifth. I'm not an atheist or an agnostic, I'm a practicing Roman Catholic...a miserable one at that...i go to church twice a month, usually for confession and to pay homage to the dead, I firmly believe there is a God and that he is good and just. however i believe ever religion has f---ed up the message beyond repair. i truly and honestly believe that if there is a heaven being a good person gets you there. God i'm sure doesn't give 2 shakes of a rat's ass who you f---, when you f---, where you f---, what hole you f--- and what gender you f---. In my religious tradition God is Love, sex is supposed to be the ultimate act of love, and no piece of paper, misguided people or gender are going to tell me i can't act on it. In No way does god forbid homosexuality, only closeminded control freaks forbid it in fear that it will upset the status quo For the record I'm not gay, however by my religions standards im technically living in sin with my g/f...but Jesus still loves me
