Let me speak on behalf of the entire core forum population and say that the old LSI was a million times better than this one.

Nobody ever notcied there was a logo anyways, and nobody gives a shit about it. The improvements sounded good originally and I gave the new LSI a shot, but at some point I just have to concede and admit that it sucks. Hell, half the features don't work, nothing ever gets fixed.

You should swallow your pride Ray and just change everything back to a few months ago.

From fact that you put your message in the layout topic, I guess you don't have a problem that I anser your message here in the forum. Well 'answer', you only fire a list of unmotivated statements to me without good argumentation. So what is it you want with this message, answeres, starting up a discussion???

I have absolutely no problem discussing things, you know me, I'm open to everything. The direction of the site is based on user input, I simply make what the audience wants, always has been, always will. I understand you have a problem with the last update. If you want to say something, be my guest lets talk about it, but your message is not about starting up a discussion, this is just a message to insult me. In your message you don't leave any room for me to answer; You come up with argumention that is mostly wayyy off the truth ("Nobody ever notcied there was a logo", "half the features don't work", "nothing ever gets fixed"). Then you feel it is necassary to use bad language ("shit", "sucks", "hell"). And most of all, you thing is is very needed to instult me directly ("swallow your pride"). What pride?? Because I am "too proud" to change it back because not everybody likes the new layout???? You cannot be serious.

I never ever have been insulted during my entire LSI life, but this message is by FAR the one that got the closest.

So let me do give you a response to your message. First of all your account is blocked. I made it my mission to fight against insults from members to other members. I don't tollerate this behavior, not from anybody. Neither from the 'core' forummers, especially not from the 'core' forummers, because they are an example for all new members and don't have to think they can do and say everything they want. A long membership and/or large forum post count doesn't make you immune for warnings, penalties or warnings.

Secondly, try to understand what LSI is really about. It seems you are a forummer who doesn't know much about the rest the site has to offer. Take a look there and find out the new things and also try to find the stuff that "doesn't work" according to you. I'm sure you'll see it is not "half" of the new features.

Last, som facts. 1) The visitor numbers increased 30% to 650,000 unique visitors a day since the last update, which shows the last update has been an inprovement to the site. 2) I do work 24/7 on the site and keep in mind it is just me, not a 25 ppl crew on the other site. So maybe updates and developments don't go as fast as other sites, I fix things on the site one by one. If you really pay attention you see minor or major changes every week.

Ok, done.

Comment, reactions... I'm happy to hear them, as long as it is with respect.

47,924 posts	right on, Ray! * offtopic : when i saw the topic titile i was " ray swore" but i reackon the new lsi is a million times better than the old one. yeah people miss old lsi, but new lsi is seriously alot better. and i always wonderd if it was only you or a team of people who run lsi, because of the way you say things sometimes, like "we" instead of "i" when talking about the "lsi team" but you realise if you banned curt, he can't reply to this..lol

35 posts	Lol that was true TheAnnoyance ,but Ray cares about the people that comes on here looking and posting lyrics,forum topics,and chatting sometimes he wants to do lil changes like add Quizilla logo to the advertisements, and get new logo's I really don't care what he does solong that it's for his and our benefit.

22,056 posts	I personally think this is pretty weak certain "facts" need to be addressed the forum is on a downward spiral if not for the fact that the forum sees an update for every page changed, picture added or weblog posted this place would be a varitable ghost town there are several core members of the forum (by core member i mean been around for at least 18 months with a post count of 5000 give or take) who have decided that either the features dont work for them, thed layout of the site is sub par or that the site isn't as user friendly as it once was personally my page hasn't worked this the new layout came into effect, my moderating tools work 35% of the time if im lucky moderators can no longer edit first posts...meaning all rules broken there remain to be seen by others the fact is there is a lot wrong with the site, most of, if not all members of the forum much prefered when we were the only yellow site in the netverse with half a million subscibers It's your site and by all means make whatever changes you like to it, but please don't insult my intelligence by saying that new logos, new layouts and all sorts of other little bells and whistles added to this place were what we all wanted...i never asked for anything to be c hanged because i prefered this site for what is was, a little online community where i could talk to people my age about anything and get lyrics while doing it To ban the one person who was vocal enough to say that he emphatically didnt like the site was weak, and i don't agree with that at all but again its your site, and if the extra unique user numbers matter to you than so be it but i've always been a bigger fan of quality people than a quanity of them

28,823 posts	oh i wonder why pple register on lsi anymore. i mean i registered once, and i stuck around cuz of the cool pple here. all the friends ive made here stuck around cuz of the pple. but in the past year or so i havent actually made new friends here. theres like a billion pple who register and make 5 posts and then leave cuz its crowded and boring, so they just ask a question get the answer and leave. its sad. i guess its good for rays business then

23,504 posts	yeah i know only a few people in chat are actual regulars besides all the ops. and it's a bit sad to not see the old regulars in there every morning like it once was. but life changes. we grow up. move on. all the old regulars though will be going to uni and stuff now.

35 posts	Carole, I haven't made ONE friend sense I been here.Cause I mostly look for lyrics ,but I'm not on here as much as I am on quizilla cause yeah quizilla has a new layout ,but still Ray can't do anything to really change it he's just fixing things to our liking,but when Quizilla's full,I always go to Neopets and never think to look here cause I think it's just for people that like posting lyrics,but I never read the contentce on the rules I just try not to do what others have done when I hear about them,yeah I'm a weird person in the real world and sometimes on the internet aswell ,but I don't give a flying monkey what people post or do on the internet solong as I have it I'm cool.
