| Also played for my Blue Jays for a few seasons not too long ago...I heard about the crash about 2.5 hours ago but only heard about Lidle 30 minutes ago and it shocked me.

| I won't lie, he wasn't a great pitcher by any means. An average Joe at best.
Still, this is an unfortunate thing. I feel for his fmaily and friends, quite unexpected.

| He was sightseeing with another person. The other person also died, but I don't know who they were.
That must have been really terrifying for the people of New York - especially those who witnessed it in person. All the memories of September 11 and no way of knowing if it was another terrorist attack or not.
