Drum tabs... suck...

| I'm an avid drummer, and I like to figure out how to play songs. But sometimes using the Suzuki Method doesn't work, and the books are expensive. So can someone tell me how to read drum tabs? I've always found them confusing. Thanks! |

| druming takes no musical talent.
just listing to the song, make shure you have a similer drum kit...and then play the song. | 15-06-2006 16:51 sarah_2204 | 3,596 posts

| * offtopic : drming is the most easist instrument, all it takes is rythem, which evereyone has.
the only chanelging form is doble bass drummers who actualy are talented.

| * offtopic : Drumming needs no talent *snort* That's your opinion but, seriously, drumming is effing hard.. and no, not everyone has the rhythm that it takes to be a good drummer. The whole keeping in synch, getting it right all the time is not easy. Definitely not the easiest instrument

| ok, obviously n00blord is a freaking retard. Drumming does take talent and it's definately not the easiest instrument to play. I agree with _AdreNaliN_, not eveyone has rhythm and it is also hard to aquire rhythm if you don't have it. So, n00blord, shut your stupid face and don't argue with people when you have no idea what the hell your talking about. | 27-08-2006 20:35 steven | 3 posts

if it's so easy
why do I practice a lot aye?
noob just try to play a song from system of a down for example
let say cigaro, and u don't have to do the double base cause u think it's harder
try to play it
your freakin arms will fall of when u ended
on topic
drum tabs don't suck
they are easy
mostly u see some lines I will make one
basic rythm
C|x----------------|
H|----x---x---x---|
S|----o-------o----|
B|b-------b--------|
now the C stand for Crash cymbal
H for the Hi-hat
S for snare (ofcourse)
B for the Base
u can put some toms in it or a ride or whatever cymbal u want
it's very easy as u see | 21-09-2006 16:27 Airwolfy | 31 posts
