Staircases are compiled of two or more steps. So therefore, unless you have two or more steps on your staircase outside, it is called steps. Three steps on your outside staircase would be refferred to as stairs. | 01-06-2006 17:56 carole |

| According to the evolution theory:
What was there before the bang? like where did that space come from?
The big bang theory is a model in which all the matter of the Universe was initially concentrated and then got into expansion. It is the moment of creation of the universe. So therefore we cannot speculate on what was there before since by definition there was no before. You can think of it as if time started to exist at the time of the big bang, so there was nothing before that.
- Amelie Saintonge
Because time had just started to exist, there were no laws of gravity, or any rules of physics, or other things like that. So no space was needed to create the big bang. kthx | 01-06-2006 18:23 SolBuzz | 809 posts
| Why doesnt runny glue dry and stick in the bottle?
Because glue is made up of a solevent that once evaporates will make the glue stick. When in the bottle, there is only a limited amount of air, so only a little bit of the solevent can evaporate. Once the space is full of solvent gas, no more solvent evaporates from the glue and the glue stays runny. | 01-06-2006 18:23 SkiTTleS101 | 14 posts

Just simply stating "Why?" gives me no proper question to answer.
So for your unproper question, you get an unproper answer.
