77 posts	You find it funny man? I for one, do not. I love music, and as a musician myself I hate when artists are not given the credit they deserve. Tabs are not, in most cases, released by the artists and are therefore copyright infringement. Look it up. Y'all should really get educated about a topic before you start promoting it.

14,843 posts	Don't you think that artists would get satisfaction in knowing that there are people who want to learn their songs, even with the use of tab? I'd like to think so. I don't see why guitar tabs are illegal.

26,350 posts	If a certain band does not want it's lyrics/tabs or whatever on this site, they will let the webmaster know. I know there are a few bands here that don't allow their lyrics shown, I'm sure the rest don't really give a shit, otherwise they'd say so and their lyrics would also be unviewable.

9,665 posts	I think bands don't give a damn about people learning how to play their songs with tabs online. They may even think it's cool. Some bands have their tabs at they're official website for everone. Tabs being illegal is ridiculous.

77 posts	Funds are an issue for me too, man. But, that doesn't mean that the artist should have to sacrifice for your financial shortfall. Anyway, most people who play instruments can pick up the chords and such by listening to it.

19,812 posts	Hmm, you can buy cd's, t-shirts, hoodies, keychains, concert tickets.... Does a guitar tab realllly make that much difference? It's just the record companies way of getting more money. I doubt the artist really has anything to do with it. (unless of course the artist is Lars Ulrich, that's a whole different story)

And people learning their tabs online is not taking away their credit, it's more of a way to show how good their music is, good enough to learn it. It even shows respect. I am taking this way too seriously.
