well at 14 and then when i turn the age of 20 and know that i had given up a child .. i'd feel like shit. to abort it now when it has no clue and isn't even developed is an okay thing.

If you have sex at 14 (OMG!!!!) you have to take the responsibility that comes with it. If you aren't mature enough to raise a child, then don't have sex! Aaaaaaaand there's no such thing as "safe sex" or whatever. Just wait until you get married for Christ's sake!

14 years ago, my sister got pregnant at the age of 14. She kept the child and now I have an awesome 14 year old niece to hang out with!! My sister is a very strong person to deal with all the crap and everything is good now.

If you are not strong enough to handle a child then at least give it up for adoption.

If you don't want to be a parent at 14 don't ahve sex. It's as simple as that.

I'm not against abortion at all, sometimes it is necessary. (ie rape, severe birth defects, pregnancy is harmful to the mother) But not when some kid thinks their immune to pregnancy or think of abortion as a way out. That's not right. If you think you're old enough to go screw someone then you better be prepared for anything that can come of it.

"I can't give the baby a good life" is also not a good excuse. There are many people out there who can't have kids that would take the one you don't want in a heartbeat. Hell, it'd probably be adopted before you even had it.

You can't have sex at your leisure and expect to be excused of all responsibility. Period. If nothing else, you're going to deal with the responsibility of emotional whatever.

14 yr olds shouldnt even be having sex. Its disgusting... but when 4 years ago you were only 10 years old do you really think its appropriate to bring it into the world? sure. you could adopt it but id rather abort it theres a pill out now called RU486 or something and its an abortion pill which you can take at any stage of pregnancy to abort the baby. I personally think this will up the abortion rate as it doesnt seem so bad as to having your baby sucked out of you.

I want to know what happens the other 36 - 15% that the pill doesn't work. Wasted money and deformed child? And now instead of ripping a baby out of you they rip a shriviled corpse... that's sick.

Also if you go to the site I got that from it talks about how they give you a second med to induce contractions to expel the corpse. Which could take hours, days, weeks or may never happen. Some people who've used it have even had the corpse expel while driving home in their car/on the bus and at work. So much for keeping it under wraps. Some people are gonna be pretty nosey when a dead baby falls out of your skirt... geesh.

actually you can there are schools specialised in helpign people who still want education after having a baby. whilst they are in school there is usually a creche of some kind for the baby to stay, also with the basic education they get parenting classes as well.. we're not in the dark ages anymore, these have been around since the 70s these types of schools have.

plus abort is not always the answer, so what if the child has only one parent... there ar emany middle aed women with young children who only have one parent... two parents don't nessasrily make a stable family, or a loved child. there are many kids who are abused by non-teen parents, doesn't mean they are better off though, if they're mother or father isn't a teenager.

myfamily isn't stable my mum brought my bro my sis and me up on her own, and also who's to say that a two parent family is stable? Abuse cases have mainly come from families with two parents.

And in the modern day world anyway, single parent families no matter they're age, there is much more of them than the traditional family nowadays.

Hello, if u dont want a baby at age 14 u should have had sex in the first place!! If you chose to do that, then you chose the consequences that come with it. Life is given at conception, not at the initial birth, I mean if you dont want it, just put it up for adoption.
