This is probably a girl topic.

I think high heels are cool. I love to wear them and one time I sprained my ankle.

What do you like about heels?

I love shoes, I'm happy in heels. I generally don't wear them during the day time because I'd feel overdressed, but yeah, I don't get the fuss about them being painful/hard to walk and dance in... they're just shoes like any other, but often prettier.

I don't like heels unless I'm getting dressed up for something. And even then I take them off as soon as I can.

I have 3 pairs of shoes that I wear all the time. Work shoes, 'dressy' flats, and my Vans.. that's all I need.

Heels make legs look both longer and slimmer. 'Nuff said.

My mom says black makes people look slimmer. Oh yeah. I wanted these cool boots that go up to your knee whatever but my mom said no. grr. I'll end up asking for shoes on my b-day, which is like in (Omg) 2 weeks

Ok, your profile says you are 9, the same age as my baby sister. Please tell me this is not truth.

You don't write like a 9 year old...I find it hard to believe you are 9. But then again mayeb I've just forgotten what 9 year olds are like, I don't see alot of my little sister and I haven't been 9 myself for 12 years, lol.

Jeez I don't mean to sound patronising, but I think 9 is far too young to be wearing high heels. It's a bit of a cliche, but "Children these days are growing up far too quickly." I didn't wear heels till I was 16, and didn't start wearing make-up till around the same age. I don't really wear make-up now, or heels for that matter unless I'm going out somewhere that calls for heels.

I wore my first pair of heels when I was 16 and that was only because I needed to wear heels with the dress for my junior school formal night.

You don't write like you're 9 years old so I'm really not buying it. I'll just settle that you're a bored kid with nothing better to do than try to rile people up (and I've seen better attempts on this forum).

hee hee *waits for Matt to post here his lil comix about me in high heels*

but in the meanwhile..

yep, I like my high heels. sue me. I'd even go with them to the beach on the sand. I go with the for miles on the malls, and for touristic tours in the street looking for the place I have to do my job interview at.
i think high heels give some sense of class and maturity to a girl, tend to make her seem older than she is, or, in my case, AS she is, since nobody seems to believe me that I'm not underage
when I go to my job interviews, I wear high heels. right now it's my high heels boots, though now it's more fashionable to wear flat heels boots. when I walk into the room with that clickety-clock sound of the heels knocking on the floor, I feel more confident and empowered. and i show it on the outside, what helps the interview. it became a superstition with me- always wear high heels on job interviews. I'm aware of the irony of that, that if it was really helpful, there wouldn't have to be more than one interview, but, hey, I got a job today and I'm starting this Tuesday, so it must have helped. it couldn't be me.

when I was in high school it was the first time I got high heels boots. I came to school with them, and one time a girl from my class said that I probably like walking with them cuz they make a "mom sound" lol like those fashionable high heels wearing moms and their knock-knock-knocking on the floor. I said that it's true. it IS more about the sound than about anything else. I'm not ashamed to say it. everyone has their thing that gives them confidence. for me it's high heels.

I only wear heels if I'm going to a really formal event...I generally don't like them because they're uncomfortable for me. I didn't start wearing heels until I was 15, and I still don't wear them that much now.

i don't really love heels, i prefer my converse, but i like getting all dressed up, and i only wear them if i'm going out somewhere, but i like my high-heeled boots, especially my knee-highs...keep the ol' legs warm in the wee hours of the morning

its not that i can't dance in heels...i've done that...

its that i don't like walking in them and they aren't as comfotable as running shoes...ya its nice to be tall, but its nicer to be able to run around. I only wear heels if i'm getting dressed up...which i tend to avoid.

Don't wear heels unless it's a wedding, lol.I love how they look but they're too painful. If there's a reason why I should dress up and take off my sneakers I sure will wear heels.

i wear heels occasionally, but they are a damn menace and a danger to society.

they are needed when i wanna add a drop of sophistication to my look, or when i wanna look extra classy [i have the classic classy looks, so heels enhance this quality]

but training shoes, anytime of the day

I hardly wear heels, it's too tiring to be in them. The only pair I have is when I bought red heels for my prom and those were very pretty and I love them and I would wear if I had the occasion to wear them because otherwise i wear shoes or flat sandals. The first time I wore heels was for my 8th grade graduation.
