| Gees, Group A looks like the group of death while Group C, all invovled should thanks their lucky stars for a relatively soft group.

Not against the world class of France and perhaps Italy! | 0 @ 27-01-2006 13:09 Dagor | 34,018 posts
| Yeah, I wondered about that too ... Armenia and Azarbaijan are also a bit on the very edge of Europe | 0 @ 27-01-2006 13:12 paynie | 5,651 posts
| Maybe Asia had too many countries for World Cup qualifyers so they flung them in with Europe so they can compete in the European Champs aswell?
But I dunno? | 0 @ 27-01-2006 13:24 grounded_angel | 5,952 posts

| Yess thats a class draw for the England lads.
Easy pickings! | 0 @ 28-01-2006 19:02 paynie | 5,651 posts
| Okay you might have an easy qualifying group but who's to say if England won't go out in the groups of the actual competition. | 0 @ 04-03-2006 11:53 minastirith | 2,451 posts
| Stupid draw. I know Wales aren't very good, but they deserved a better seeding than they got. As it is, we're probably gonna get caned by everyone again. If we get third I'll be chuffed.
P.S. England's group - embarrassingly simple as ever, they are brilliant (so they get good seeding), but they only ever get to the quarter-finals, or second round. So why are they top seeds, and why are the Czech Republic (no.2 in the world) not?! | 0 @ 10-03-2006 00:45 litjens999 | 2,191 posts
| Looks like a easy ride for us (Netherlands / Holland)
Only a lot of traveling all (except Luxembourg) are East European countries | 0 @ 10-03-2006 01:18 babii_gurrl | 862 posts
| i'm from Switzerland.. and this means we aren't playing ? | 0 @ 10-03-2006 21:02 NightShade | 2,772 posts
| Well switzerland are actually hosting it, so they get through this qualifying round automatically. | 0 @ 11-03-2006 00:31 babii_gurrl | 862 posts
| oh ic, makes sense

wow another one of my countries , how silly haha | 0 @ 12-03-2006 14:44 paynie | 5,651 posts
| Lol, yeah joint hosts is always a good excuse to get two teams automatic entry. |
