| My opinion is that I dont care what you think of SOAD
*goes to listen to SOAD* | 0 @ 25-01-2006 23:35 Maycen | 20,718 posts
| Well the "little dude", or Daron as some like to call him, was always singing, just not as much as now. At first I didn't like it, but his whiny little voice grew on me, and I still love SOAD. | 0 @ 25-01-2006 23:37 random_guy | 7,534 posts
| I tried to post this but it failed for some reason: I hate it when people complain about how a band isn't as good as it used to be | 0 @ 25-01-2006 23:38 Maycen | 20,718 posts
| I agree, Joel. Bands have to be able to explore new things without losing their fans. | 0 @ 25-01-2006 23:56 Chrisrocks53 | 13,570 posts
| SOAD are still good anyway and Daron is a good singer. | 0 @ 26-01-2006 01:28 FireWaterBurn | 28,885 posts
| Daron is feces... I hate when he sings. Actually, I don't like him period.
Daron always sang, but now it's more of a 50-50 singing duo type thing, as I heard them say during a FUSE interview, in which they were assholes..
I much prefer Serj just singing, and Daron singing briefly.

| u mean Daron? well he is so hott and no he hasnt ruin the band he can sing | 0 @ 26-01-2006 02:34 Maycen | 20,718 posts
| He's ugly. But whether or not he's hot is beside the point. | 0 @ 26-01-2006 02:34 tigerlilly_169 | 3,630 posts
| I DONT CARE ! | 0 @ 26-01-2006 02:39 Maycen | 20,718 posts
| Then don't post. It's easy, really. | 0 @ 26-01-2006 02:39 jsimms52 | 24,380 posts
| I personally like his vocals.
Its brings something different to the songs now.
I really like both Mesmerize and Hypnotize and dont care if he keeps singing in future albums. | 0 @ 26-01-2006 02:40 random_guy | 7,534 posts
| I honestly think they sound good together. | 0 @ 26-01-2006 02:51 badasswrestler | 3 posts
| well i think they are just experimenting with things trying to do something different cause remember thats wut they do | 0 @ 26-01-2006 05:40 e80kse | 1,401 posts
| They have some very strange new stuff. I respect it as something completely different, but that doesn't make me like it more than some generic pop. | 0 @ 26-01-2006 05:59 Tyrannical_King | 5,163 posts
| Mezmerize was a tiny bit worse than Toxicity, but I can't stand Hypnotize, the main reason being that Daron sings so much now.
And the fact about bands changing and people not liking them is bull. A lot of bands just age differently and naturally turn shitty (Unearth for instace, Genesis, Journey). | 0 @ 26-01-2006 06:34 luv2laff89 | 938 posts
| I really like SOAD with or without Daron's vocals, but since we're on the SOAD subject, can anyone explain to me what BYOB is about, am I just stupid or does it have some hidden meaning, none of my friends get what its about either. | 0 @ 26-01-2006 23:25 darkoblivion | 738 posts
| SOAD is pretty awesome. I have no clue about the band members so my opinion is fully based on their musical talents. =) | 0 @ 28-01-2006 23:05 pitchin | 388 posts
| the only thing i can think of BYOB meaning is bring your own beer, because theyre talking about going to a party, but i know there has to be something more to it | 0 @ 28-01-2006 23:14 dakondakblade | 10,180 posts
| well according to my cd booklets and their website
byob- bring your own bombs
add- american dream disorder
pluck- politicaly, lying, unholy cowardly kittens
| 0 @ 28-01-2006 23:14 random_guy | 7,534 posts
| Its a political thing | 0 @ 28-01-2006 23:15 random_guy | 7,534 posts
| Sorry, the bitchslap was for pitchin | 0 @ 28-01-2006 23:27 dakondakblade | 10,180 posts
| starting from *steal this album* . most of their songs shifted toa political and society based spectrum
The self titled and toxiicity had a few songs about politics.
Although almost all of steal this album! was on a political spectrum. A few exceptions were pictures, roulette and that A-e-ia-a-o-u one | 0 @ 29-01-2006 21:38 pitchin | 388 posts
| what? go die random guy | 0 @ 29-01-2006 21:41 NightShade | 2,772 posts
| No, Daron has an interesting voice. It adds depth to their music, giving them a unique and instantly recognisable sound. | 0 @ 09-02-2006 22:19 drummerdude | 884 posts
