Now, I don't know if it's just a think thats going on in the Uk - (I don't know if primark exists elsewhere) but what is the new obsession with this shop?! I've never been there - have no idea what clothes they sell... but everyone seems to be going there... Anyone want to shine a little light onto this?? because I havn't a clue!

Lol, no you can't say that. Plus, some of my friends pronounce it as 'pree', so it hasn't actually got anything to do with it

hehe, Amsterdam's ace.

Back on topic though, yeah the only person I've heard say it, said it as 'pree-mark', but I thought 'Pry-mark' made more sense.

I'll be back to this topic once I've been to Primark, and let you all know of my experiences there, haha.

I bought glitter socks from there the other day: one purple pair and one black pair for the bargain of £1 for both.

Okay, the quality isnt all that great, but for basics or for a silly fashion that will look horrendous in a few months, it's good.
I got a pair of black drainpipes, even better fitting than topshop, for a mere £10.

I only ever go there at night/early morning though 'cause any other time scares the pants offa me. So busy and some of the people that shop there are pyscho bargain mad chavs...scary.

i hate that shop. everything's always all over the floor, the underwear they sell is shite and the queues are ridiculous.

They go there because its so cheap and its all the things that come into fashion!, but when you get somthing from there it just falls apart id rather go somewhere better and get somthing thats more expensive as it would last longer!

Personally I dont think its that good

I've bought 2 pairs of socks from there, and that's about it. It's an eeeevil shop, there's too many people and they all touch you, with mad looks on their faces and all pushy and I have to run out ... although I've only been in once, and it was once too many *shudder*

Wooo angelofdeath. I've got the black and purple glitter socks too. We'll have to start a shiny sock society and blind the rest of the worls with our sparkly sockage......or not

Primark rules. I'm a total chepskate so my shopping habits are pretty much Primark, charity shops and wherever has the best sale on. I like to come back from shopping with a bag of cheap stuff rather than one expensive item then I don't feel guilty even though I've spent the same amount of money. Ah the psychology of shopping!

Leeds Primark is nice but the one in Darlington is a tip and only has 2 old changing cubicles with a half mile queue.

finally, it's Pry-Mark!!!!!

Only just become an obsession?

I've been going there yeqars. It's good to get the simple clothes - like plain coloured or just normal denim or scarves or underwear or something... they basically dont sell anything over £20, they're mega reasonable on price...

... its a bloody tip in there though. And busy. And you gotta work out when they get their deliveries because if you go there too late in the week they'll never have your size...

I shop at primark alot..they take the latest fashions and sell that them at really cheap prices so you dont have to spend loads if you want to be 'fashioable?'...anywho there tights are like £1 per pair and 5 pairs for £3..I may sound like an old woman but omg thats soo cheap!! and i bought spme shoes for £3 and saw similar ones in topshop for £29!!! There hundreds everywhere..i live in middlesex and theres at least 6 within a 20 minute radius of my house!! x

I wouldnt go so far as to say they sell the latest fashions, they have quite a clumsy take on various trends...kinda like, townified. I dunno, I cant really explain, but what you can do is make some of their stuff your own in different outfits. If someone is wearing head to toe Primark stuff, you can tell.

I think that they do take the main lastest style and make cheaper versions of it. They have the nautical stuff..they have military style jackets..they had shorts when they was big, cricket jumpers etc. Anytime i have ever wanted a various style that is popular they usually have them in there!! But then again i suppose its all personal opinion i just think that they are pretty good!
