| What is the meaning of your national flag? The colors - and which order!
Germany:
Black
Red
Gold
The colors stand for freedom and democracy! The colors are taken from the uniforms of the army who fought against Napoleon between 1815 and 1817!
Black uniform, red stripes, golden buttons!

| Not all of the Turkish and Greek people hate each other. There are some fanatics but no, as i said before i love Greek people. 
I guess the so told hatred is because of Istanbul and Cyprus but thats only my guess for sure.

but I know that the tree that is in the middle of the flag goes for the "arez" treas that lebanon is very famous of in it's mountains, sry don't know what is the name of the tree in english

| the Georgia flag sucks
This was the flag from like the late 50's up until 2001... It has the GA State Seal on it and also the battle flag of the confederacy. It was removed from being our flag in '01 because the Black rights activists said that it was racist having the ties to the confederate army... bah. And after the flags were flown all over the state by all whites with the words 'heritage not hate' painted across the banner.
This is the flag that was kind of 'suddenly' adopted with a showcasing the flag history of GA.. and the Seal.. they kind of rushed it as everyone was pitching a huge fit suddenly about the original flag.. it was ugly.. and didn't last very long... people weren't satisfied that they made the original confederate flag smaller and still apart of the flag.. so they changed it AGAIN.
This is the flag that we have now.. it uses one of the older original flag styles.. on some of the original designs it actually had 'IN GOD WE TRUST' in red writing in the middle of the white stripe.. THANK GOD that one didn't stay..
but yea.. that's the history from the late 50's to now

The large blue triangle represents Ohio's hills and valleys, and the stripes represent roads and waterways. The seventeen stars symbolize that Ohio was the 17th state admitted to the union. The white circle with its red center not only represents the first letter of the state name, but also its nickname, "the Buckeye State."

I had no idea the Ohio flag meant that much, I like it much more knowing that its not just a cheap knock off of the U.S. Flag.
