OK... As far as Great Britain goes, you'll have a choice of which part of Britain to study in. England, Scotland and Wales all have their own individual education systems, and I would suggest Scotland as your main choice as the Scottish education system is currently rated as one of the best in the western world. Plus Scotland is a very welcoming country with sub-cultures from all over the world, and with a rich history and beautiful landscapes to discover

Yeah not Scotland, it's feckin cold and there's not much to do at all.

I know that there are student exchange things happening in London where I grew up/went to school as other local schools did it (this was in Camden, North London), so look into that, it's a beautiful big city.

I live in Cumbria, England. If you like pretty lakes and mountains and stuff like that you should come here, although it is a bit cold!

If you come to Scotland, Cumbria's just south of the border so come here for a day!

Tell ya what!
I'm an exchange student (in US though) and here's some things you should consider...

The language: Shouldn't be a big problem, since you mostly chose englishspeaking (though it's really cool to go somewhere they talk in riddles)

The Area: Well, do you want sun or snow? I'm from chilly, temparate Denmark and ended in AZ.. Difference!
And just because you chose a place with coast doesnt mean you'll live there

The people: consider how different you can live for a year.. It is kind of tirering after a couple of months, even though it's interesting...

But that didn't help you much with the question, did it now
