Now we got a little problem on LSI.

Alternative spellings of the same artist.
I just found this out with the artist 'Boxcar Racer' and Box Car Racer.

Also, you may use this thread to post spelling or grammar corrections to artist names.

*If possible, transfer material to the correct artist name and leave "wrong" artist page blank/empty.

[Url=http://artists.letssingit.com/canzoni-di-natale-ckt6p/overview]Here[/url] it has "Canzoni de Natale" which in Italian means "Christmas Songs" - I doubt that's a real artist as Snap was adding songs as that as an "artist" and the songs were by different artist. Ray recommended that the artist page be deleted.

Yeah, there have been several cases here where artists that sound like titles of compilations exist here because they get auto-added - so yeah, it should be deleted.

Perhaps we need to remove Canzoni Di Natale. I saw this artist in the Public Review and Roxcyn said that it means "Christmas songs" in Italian, so all 133 of these songs are not properly credited and probably exist elsewhere.

Yeah, I figured that would be the deal with Canzoni Di Natale...guess it'll have to stay until you can find those 133 songs at their proper places.

I just checked all of the posts since your last update - all look good, but I just found another Mariachi El Bronx at a different artist ID than the one you deleted. I suggested making them a searchable alias to The Bronx, did you make a separate page by accident or did someone else?

I think Mariachi El Bronx has been added by someone else again. I deleted it again. The name has been made as alias for The Bronx.

I don't know where else to post this, but today I noticed that in the alphabetical list of artists, there's about a page's worth of artists in the T's that are alphabetized by "The" and not what comes after the "The". The majority of artists I've seen with "The" in their name are categorized correctly (like The Ataris being under A), but there's this group of artists on page 12 and 13 of the T's that are incorrectly sorted under T for "The".

Not sure if this is a problem with the site or something to do with the artist name, so I figured I'd post it here.
