OK, as there have been a couple threads about this in the past I'll be posting the full list of everyone who currently has chat op status.

If anyone would like to volunteer to help out as a chatroom op, or if you would like to nominate someone who you think might make a good op, please PM me about it.

Also, if anybody has complaints about the behaviour of any members of the opping team, please PM me about it.

437 posts	u know what..... the worst thing at lsi chatroom is 'the ops except Snap (well maybe except feather1 too)' i didnt see even only one nice op. there is already a block system in the chatroom. ppl can use it if they feel they are harassed or something else. so what?? they are useless. anyways, lsi chatroom is the only one i see that op system. Snap can do that work alone!!!

23,504 posts	as i said in the other thread myself the ops are there to kick when people avoid kicks and get around the swearing or start a fight and start insulting other members and being racist etc. Stuff snap can't do. Snap isn't a person. and though there is a block system it doesnt render ops as useless. as shown by it being in place. and the thing about this chat beign the only one you've been too with ops i've been to many chats that use and operator system. And just because you don't like it doesn't mean it's useless.

6,282 posts	^ If you would've read the rules, basically making a member feel bad isn't really allowed, and there are several ways to make a member feel bad.. which, a bot cannot comprehend. There needs to be a human element to everything, for me. In short, if the ops aren't complaining, you shouldn't either

Swap ops with security 'sensitive' people with people trying to have a good time and abusive, irritating members in a chatroom to people in a concert trying to pick a fight or harass others And now.. apply your 'solution' to it. May sound stupid, but you'll get my point.

34 posts	... there's a huge fuckign difference between ops and security at a rock concert. we're trying to stop VERBAL abuse, and that can easily be done with either making Snap a better bot, or getting better ops, because the ones we have now FUCKING SUCK. another idea is to have voting kicks. its been used in tons of different chats, and it works. to be kicked, a user has to get at least 1/3 of the room to vote for them to be kicked out. its way fucking smarter, and ops wont be able to abuse their authority like they usually do.

1,461 posts	yet a flaw in your little system is that often in the LSI chatroom there are little to no people, or there is a large group of people from, for example, the same school, who decide to come on to LSI and abuse the chat room. How do you propose sorting that out?
