I have never seen England play football this well in a long time. They were outstanding. Even if the score had stayed at 2-1 to Argentina I would of been happy. Bring on the World Cup.

England beat Argentina. I think that's great. They owned in another match lately too.. can't remmeber but I know beckham wasnt playing. So W00t! Who cares if they "wont win the world cup", which they might anyway, since we have an awesome team on paper and have won it before. | Why is all the English commentators saying " the world cup starts here!" They beat one team and they think they can go all the way. It would be funny if England went out in the groups and Argentina won the whole thing.
If England do win my Great grandchildren would probably still hear about it from commentators.
We still hear about 1966 and its 2005??? Why is this?!
They still havent dropped talking about:
England and the Rugby world cup
The Ashes
And any other English victory!

| someone has already said it, england have a great team ON PAPER. They are huge under achievers for the quality they have in the side. Sure they were awesome against argentina, it was excellent game to watch, but the game counts for nothing if they cant reproduce the performance in the next game. One swallow never made a summer |
