12,769 posts	I don't really watch horror movies.... But last night I couldnt sleep so I got up and watched some lame horror movie that was on TV... There was part of it that scared me so much... it was Halloween H2O... and it was lame... but yeah... id had a lot of sugar... and i was terrified....

9,642 posts	personally I found The Shining much scarier than any of the "horror" crap that comes out these days. For the most part, I think horror movies are complete crap, not well made, etc. I haven't seen The Ring II, but I did NOT think The Ring was scary.

21,747 posts	The Chucky movies not scary at all. I fell sleep during all of them. The Ring & the Grudge so lame. I couldn't pay attention to those movies if my life depended on it. I like Poltergeist a lot. Nightmare on Elm Street scared me a bit too. The Halloween movies are pretty okay. Oh & I liked Saw also.

24,877 posts	One that's more creepy than scary is The Others....it freaked me out the first time I ever saw it. In general, I find the psychological ones to be scarier than the horror/sci-fi/supernatural flicks. Yeah, those Aliens in Signs were strange-looking, but as far as we know they don't exist. But serial killers do (I'm talking Lecter-style killers, not Krueger), and yeah, that scares the living bejeezus out of me. I still can't watch Silence of the Lambs by myself.
