Favourite artist has to be Feeder.

Favourite 3 songs by them? Hmm...
My favourite "Big Hits" by them are:

1. Seven Days In The Sun
2. Just The Way I'm Feeling
3. Feeling A Moment

And my favourite "Not as big, but still amazing" songs are:

1. You're My Evergreen (What a riff!)
2. Moonshine (beautiful.)
3. Piece By Piece (different, but still sounds great.)

So many others...

Currently, I found a new one as of 5 minutes ago:

'Hollowfall'

^
Such a bloody good band.
If you like Dream Theater or Tool or 'Linkin Park with actual decent guitarists' or any decent prog rock with brilliant songwriting, this is the band for you.

Hollowfall's official website

Download some of their songs here (Run's a really good song)

This is an upcoming and coming band with big things ahead in my opinion.
Total awesomeness
