Even though they are shitheads.
Musically though, they are far superior... New Used is way better than old Used too... They are at their best when they aren't screaming nto the mic (Like in Sound Effects and overdramatics).

| I haven't seen MCR live, but I have seen a lot of their live performances on TV or DVD and I don't think they're bad at all. YES!! I looooooooove The Used. I listen to a lot stuff. Everything from Evanescence to Sam Phillips to Between The Buried And Me to Led Zeppelin, Hendrix, A7X, Mars Volta, Coheed, Johnny Cash, Genghis Tron....etc etc etc. But there's just something about The Used that I absofuckinglutely love. I guess it's Bert's incredbily passionate screams, the music, attitude, image, everything. The whole 9. I wanna go to a show of theirs soooooooo bad since I've never been  . I can't wait for the new album in early 07!!!!
Second would be My Chem cause I love them too. They're from my home state; from Newark, NJ which is like 5 mins away from me. So that's cool. Aside from how close they are to me, I love My Chem's albums. Ray Toro can REALLY play that guitar of his. Lol. I've seen a lot of their live performances on tv (never had the chance to see them live) and it's disappointing, sadly. I still wanna check them out live but sometimes I feel it isn't worth it.  P.S. About that Fall Out Boy comment, Fall Out Boy is great live, period. I haven't seen a single bad FOB performance. Unlike My Chem where it's a hit or miss, FOB seems to always be on.

Although I have to agree, comparing The Used and My Chemical Romance to Simple Plan is kinda... poorly thought out. Simple Plan is too pop.

| Nah there are worst bands out there. Simple Plan, The Used, or My Chemical Romance are just nothing particularly great nor different. Simple Plan is definately the worst, so boring. My Chemical Romance are kind of cool to listen to a few times and then they get tiring. | Simple Plan is boring and I do agree that My Chemical Romance does get kind of tiring after a while. But I would definately go for My Chemical Romance since I don't really listen to The Used. They just don't appeal to me. |
