Curtis.. of course the father would get a say... but I'm pretty sure most responsible fathers don't want their little girls flaunting around in g-strings/thongs and make-up.

The one & only reason for the design of a g-string was originally to make underwear more appealing and sexy. Regardless of whether women wear them now in everyday life, the purpose was to create a more saucy line of underwear for women. Again, I say WOMEN!!!! A 4 yr old wearing a g-string is the most disgusting thing I've heard of in a very long, long time. They're not exactly the most hygienic of garments at the best of times let alone for 4 yr old girls that are probably still getting to grips with going to the toilet on their own!!!!

Ugh that too... I read somewhere that a 9 year old gave birth to a little girl, and the father was apparently 10.

Anyone hear about that girl back in the 30s/40s who gave birth to twins when she was 5 years old?

I have no idea whether I should believe that or not.

Roxy, I just can't believe the mentality of these people out there that believe it's OK to do this. It's not just about strangers and Paedophiles, but there are a lot of little 4 yr old girls being abused in there own home. It's a horrible thought, but there are people out there that abuse their children and will be first in line to purchase these

Thats sick and wrong, it breaks my heart to think that there are women who buy these for their children , we have a shop here for tweens 6-12 years old and they do indeed sell thongs in it, I wrote a etter demanding the removal , it took about a month but they were taken out of the store. As a mom of a 9 year old girl and a 1 year old girl I couldn't sit idly by while they sold that crap !!

Bleh, sick sick sick!

Yes yes I know it's only underwear but it just shouldn't be seen on little girls.

Enough.

If you go back and read my first post on the first page... you'll see that I didn't say it was the grossest blablabla... I said it was one of the most wrong things I've heard of.

In all seriousness, I don't see why they made g-strings for 4 year olds. You have to wonder what the people who created them are thinking of.

On the other hand, aside from raising an eyebrow to the weirdness that are those Germans, I doubt the kids even think anything about what they're putting on other than it being comfortable, so in the end, I don't see the problem with the underwear itself.

Personally, I'd rather kids wearing it in ignorance than young teenage girls wearing it and thinking you-know-what.

"and thinking you-know what"

Actually, I don't "know what"... Is it sex you are referring to?

FWB, when you're older, with little girls of your own, I doubt you'd take it as light-hearted as you are at the moment
