| Yup, title says it all. Post up your poetry. It can be long, short, depressing, up-lifting, whatever. This is just to give people to express their creativity in poetry. I guess I'll start.
"See"
I watch as you sit silently
Unmoving; staring
I know you're struggling inside
But it seems like you're not caring
I can tell you remember the horrible pain
I see it in your expression
You remember all the pain and fright
You're sinking into depression
Do you remember the screeching tires?
Do you remember the bright headlights?
All the pain you and I shared
On that unfortunate night
I see the cuts and gashes
Where you were struck so hard
Where the glass sunk into your skin
Piece by piece, shard by shard
I stood by your side
As they buried me into the ground
I watched you carefully
You never made one sound
After my funeral
I followed by your side
You were breaking in your mind
Though it never showed on the outside
Now I'm dead, unliving
Just a ghost in this world
I remember now
You were my boy, I was your girl
But now I'll wonder by your side
'Til they come get me, finally
But it hurts to know I can see you
But you can't see me |

| "Simple Fantacy"
I’m living a fantasy,
moments in this life are a sight to see.
It’s beautiful that I can’t see your face,
because within my heart, a mystery it makes.
It’s beautiful that I can feel you arms on my shoulders.
Hearing the voice of The One makes me feel less sober.
I can feel you...taste you... and think of you even in my darkest dreams.
Can I run away with you, even though if it may be by any means?
Let me enjoy your body and your mind.
In return I will let you borrow mine.
Just be kind and careful, for this is a gentle dream.
Walk to the beach with me,
when the sun is setting let the ocean water wash over my feet.
Lets leave our footprints so everyone can see,
That this is just a simple fantasy.

| the chimes keep me awake at night
the moon shines in and the stars keep me company
the ghost of happiness haunts me
memories scattered on the floor like
dead leaves in autumn
the haunting words to a haunting melody
and dried tears on my cheek
echo the sorrow and drown out the cries
tarnishing gold
of dreams kept by my bedside
the chimes keep me awake at night

I’m standing in front of you
I'm screaming my head off
I'm yelling your name
I'm begging for attention
Do you hear me?
I have a knife
Are you scared?
I'm in pain
But you don't care
I'm crying
Do you hear me?
My heart bleeds
It’s wounded from within
Scars reopened
New cuts made I'm hurting
Do you hear me?
I raise my arm to your face
I take the knife
I cut across
The blood seeps from the wound
I scream out in pain
Do you hear me?
I fall to my knees
Holding my arm
Blood overflowing onto my clothes
I cry for help
Do you hear me?
I run the blade across my skin
Letting all my pain disappear
I start to weep
The blood still seeps
Do you hear me?
Why don't you blink?
Why don't you reach for me?
Am I here?
Why do you feel so far away?
Do you hear me?
My life it seems is slipping
Darkness engulfs me
I'm crying out for you to save me
Do you hear me?
I have fallen
I have hit the bottom
I have died within
Do you hear me?
The knife falls from my hand
It lies next to me on the ground
I look around
Is this hell or heaven?
I hear voices all around
But do you hear me?
Its dark
I'm scared
I think I cut to deep
I only wanted to feel better
I tried to speak

When you're lost in the world,
When you think I'm the last one to want to know,
Try me,
I might just surprise you with my answer...
If you think I'll say that I don't care,
You're wrong.
Because I do,
I just don't know how to get it through to you.
I wish I could write you a letter.
And tell you how I feel.
Or tell you that I do understand,
I don't think you would though and I don't think you do.
You mean to brush me off,
You mean to only pretend to care.
But even when you don't,
I do, I always have,
Always will
