#1 - Maynard, all the way.

The rest aren't in any order...

Amy Lee
Lacey Mosley - maybe not the best voice, but it is very unique and hard to duplicate it...

Josh Groban

Freddie mercury had by far the best male voice ever recorded. Aretha franklin has on the otherhand the greatest female voice.

But then, there are other great ones. David draiman, Tarja turunen, Mika, Michael jackson, Bruce dickinson, Jeff buckley are just a few.

But in the end, how do you know who is the greatest? I mean, if you take someon like Corey taylor, who can growl cleanly and also has a great voice in some other songs. I bet freddie, or jeff couldn't growl like that cleanly. And since that kind of growling is music too and it does take some skill to growl like that cleanly. I do realize that Freddie and Jeff were more talented, or let's say gifted, than Corey. But my point is that it's realy difficult to determine the greatest voice, it's in the end up to ones own opinion.

I think Idina Menzel has an amazing voice it doesn't really show in her own material though, mainly in some of the Broadway songs she's sung over the years...

In no particular order...

Daryl Palumbo
Dallas Green
Ace Enders
Will Pugh
Hayley Williams
Jason Vena
Anthony Raneri

I am not a fan of fall out boy, but I read that Patrick Stump is known for nailing vocal recordings in one take, which is fairly impressive.
