| actually, his first public appearance singing live was in 92..Songs To No One, im almost sure is a Gods And Monsters project, on which he didnt sing much...not as a "singer" anwyays..They were in the same band.
he didnt grow up with his father Tim, in fact he met him a total of once....
yeah it is Karl
most of Sketches wasnt pre Grace actually, the stuff he did pre-Grace was entirely life, Grace was his first recording sessions..Live @ Sin-é is proably hte earliest solid singing stuff, and that was 92-95 i think | 0 @ 12-08-2005 14:42 xMajinx | 13,401 posts

| How is Anthony Kiedis the greatest vocalist? Sure he has an okay voice...but he's not really what i would call exceptional.
Are you guys putting in the singer of your favourite band or who you think is the best singer you've ever heard? | 0 @ 03-07-2007 19:02 Theredgreen | 100 posts
| Firtsly there's a difference between a technically good and a great vocalist, at least in my opinion. A great vocalist has got to have feeling or he's worthless
For an example Whitney Houston sure can sing but she leaves me freezing in the cold outside. Thats of course individual but Great vocalists are to me:
Axl Rose
Bobby Kimball
Bruce Dickinson
Elvis Presley
Jim Morrison
Glenn Danzig
Anthony Kiedis
Steven Tyler
Eric Burdon
Paul McCartney
John Lennon
Jon Bon Jovi
Jennifer Rush
Meat Loaf
Tarja Turunen
Roger Waters
Freddie Mercury
Bono | 0 @ 13-07-2007 10:48 Famest | 7 posts
| Theredgreen wins , however you forgot to mention Freddie Mercury & Robert Plant, otherwise you think the same as me ! | 0 @ 13-07-2007 10:49 Famest | 7 posts
| oops, sorry for double-posting, but now I noticed that you already had mentioned Freddie Mercury, my bad mate! | 0 @ 21-07-2007 11:05 Tiggerr | 3 posts
| Maynard James Keenan is by the far the best vocalist ever | 0 @ 07-08-2007 08:20 Lucifer_666 | 104 posts
| Hmm... My opinion is far too vast to list here under my 2 minute attention span, so for now I'll say
Dani Filth
Trent Reznor
Layne Staley
So there.
I honestly hope nobody lists the A7X frontman if they haven't already, he's horrid. | 0 @ 11-08-2007 08:15 Hutto | 30 posts
