22,063 posts	both are great groups The Curse was the best CD i bought last year aside from American Idiot but City of Evil is far and away the best album that so many people will never here...i mean it is (and will be probably remain) as the best CD that i have bought this year musically A7X is tighter, and i like the singer better

20,510 posts	how'd i know you'd pick A7X? this is hard though. being as how im more into the screaming and such and heavier sounds, but just between there previous records and there newest, A7X has improved and expanded and has made a lot of changes. i like that. Atreyu hasnt really changed much besides adding some guitar solos. at this time im going with A7X.

2,155 posts	hot dang... this is a hard decision. Both bands are extremely good. But i myself really like good solos and good guitars etc. I'd have to pick Avenged Sevenfold

2,609 posts	id have to say a7x because they always have a different sound in all the songs but atreyu... although i do love them i think that alot of their songs sound the same.

22,063 posts	After seeing Avenged last night live, and Atreyu last year after the curse...im only reassured about the superiority of A7X...they even did some the waking the fallen stuff...and while he's lost his scream...the singer is intense as hell

303 posts	um, hard. i saw atreyu and a7x at warped tour, and, both are pretty great, but, i havent heard atryus older stuff, and i like a7x old stuff, souding the 7th trumpet anyone? soo, new cds, the curse is great, but city of evil is pretty bad, i mean, even the name.. aww, poor a7x .. yeah, arteyu for me

7,286 posts	avenged sevenfold came to london a while ago and did a small gig, and it was awesome. i haven't heard any atreyu stuff, so i will go with sevenfold.
