 | Since djskribble989 has to be such a ... i guess i will lay out the correct lyrics just so that everyone knows how much of a ... they really are.
"kneeling roses disappearing,
into Moses’ dry mouth,
breaking into Fort Knox,
stealing our intentions,
every city gripped in oil,
Crying FREEDOM!"
* offtopic : I like how you 'turned yourself in', please just take it easy with the language from now on.

| well, it seems everyone should know this...
in most cases, byob means 'bring your own bottle' or 'bring your own beer'...but in the case of this song, it does mean 'bring your own bomb' hence the fact that they're talking about war and such.

| I still think that the lyrics in this song are terrible. They are disturbing though... Even if you read between the lines, you'll find them refering to some sort of a conspiracy that doesn't exist. In general, I don't like songs that try to bring out a conspiracy that doesn't exist. I like crap like violent fairy-tales more, a-la So Cold, or Kings And Queens.
But other then that, I suppose the song is fine, just a bit too hard for me. Funny thing is, my friend brought a stereo to camp, and the JUST WOULDN"T SHUT THIS SONG OFF! I heard it SO many times, I think I've learned to like it... nah not really. But I always thought they said "Why do they always set the bar!?"... I guess it wasn't that far off | 0 @ 17-09-2005 00:40 SOADownsyndrome | 2 posts
