15,627 posts	I dunno, you get 6 boxes at a time, I can see how hiding them would be a worry for people with obsessively strict parents. But if you ask me parents who;d rather their daughter was having sex and NOT on the pill are nuts..

2,356 posts	^ the friend i'm thinking of comes from a strickt chinese family, very tight, and they don't approve of dating non-chinese guys...she's been hidding the fact she'd dating for oh about a year, and once she went to uni, she went on the pill. Before that the risk of her parents finding out was too big.

564 posts	It just depende on what fits you... but everyone here's right... both are ok... it's better to be on the pill to prevent pregnancies, has less % of failing... and it's ok if you're having and steady couple and both of you know anyone is sleeping with someone else.... but if you're sleeping with someone you and you don't know their background you better get extra safe and use a condom also... because that's the only way to prevent STD... why getting risks right??... But always remember there aren't 100% safe prevention of pregnancy!!! I was on a birth control method and got pregnant... so....

15,627 posts	Yes but condoms are really not 100% reliable, I speak from experiance, heh. If you can avoid it, do not rely on them.
