17,054 posts	hmm... people who dont want to get pregnant.. pills. but you should use a condom to help preven diseases. but you do know those things aren't 100% accurate. a condom works 97.3% of the time, and pills work 98.7% of the time.

22,057 posts	Both. Quoted for truth the pill increases the odds of you not getting pregnant while a condom helps prevent the spread of something like STI's personally condoms have worked for me so far...

Girls & Guys- use both! the pill is to prevent pregnancy, condom is to prevent diseases and yes, it prevents pregnancy as well, but its not sure and its not the purpose of it, there are a lot of chances that suddenly something can happen and whoops- you're in pregnant. so if u wanna be sure, use both.

2,356 posts	I figure both is good, but if you're only gonna use 1 use condoms - a) it prevents STDs and pregnency and b) its way harder to forget to use a condom then to remember to take the pill everyday. Less fuss.

22,182 posts	I'm sort of anti birth control, simply for the fact that both pill and condom can fail, and, then people are not willing to accept anything that comes. Personally, I would only sleep with someone that I: a) Loved b) Knew didn't have a disease (eliminating need for condom) But that's just me

15,628 posts	Both! both both both! The pill can't protect you from STI's, and even if you are just with one partner, you don;t know who they;'e been with before! However the pill is the most reliable in terms of not getting pregnant. So use both

2,356 posts	The people who are saying both are right, but for teenage girls who may have trouble getting the pill/keeping their parents from finding out, condoms do work, its just if you want to be extra safe. * offtopic : lol at fishmunky
