| first of all, i am not American. Although my nation hates this country i am more realistic than the people here. i have really good friends in USA. I don't hate the people but i can't say i like the government. and why would a person hate USA? if usa is more powerful than our country there must be a rational reason. the reason is the citizens of these countries that they dont stop bitching about usa and do not attend to become more developed. there are much more things to say but this is a very comprehensive topic.that's enough for now.

| I agree completely. They think they own everything, they DESERVE it. So sheltered and protected and comfortable in their lifestyles that some of them don't even KNOW the hardships that others face around the world, or what it's like to be anywhere else....and the worst part of all, they don't care. Not one bit.
I can honestly say this because I live in the states. Technically I too am an American, but
I have joint citizenship. (German/American)
I didn't come to the states until I was almost
4, but even as a little girl I noticed a HUGE difference in the way people were. Americans

Oh yes, I'm sure the UK (England) is a safer place than the US. Well, but i think they are killing imigrants because of SUSPECTIONS of terrorism, aren't they? I agree, it's a safer place *for white people* maybe.
But the topic is about opinions on US. Oh, well, if we ignore the fact that they decide the world destiny, if we ignore that they are rich and because of richness there is also poverty, and that the rich ones are getting even richer in this world specially with people like Bush in our governments and because of that the poor ones are growing in number and dying...Wait! They claim to be in charge to protect the world from terrorists, hmmm, but killing millions of children every year in Africa, in developing countries, etc, well, they protect the world? Oh, which world do they protect? Oh, I think I know, they protect the world of rich people. Oh yeah, now i understand everything. God! I think I was blind all this time. AND at last but not least, if we ignore that they are one of the main reasons for which i feel ashamed of my own species, well, Americans are cool, I like them. 
I almost forgot...there was a guy who said the US didn't hurt us or something like that...maybe only Iraqis. Let me tell you that not everyone is as you are, some of us have hearts and we suffer for people who die because of injustice in our world, we suffer seeing our planet being destroyed by a SOB who think they are the Earth's owners.
