| am i the only one here who finds all this talk about who should be aloud in next years champions league stupid? all i am hearing at the moment is liverpool fans going on about how they should be aloud to defend "their" trophy even if they finish fifth as if they already hav the thing won. what they dont seem to realise is that if they were actually good enough to stand a chance of winning it this year they would not hav had a problem finishing fourth or higher! |

| WEll, If Liverpool beat Chelsea, which I hope they do, and go on to win it all, they will automatically be in next year's competition, although finishing fifth, but I will feel it for Everton, they played so well this season after getting rid of 'the fat one'....

| rcs, I think you'll find that winning the cup no longer seeds you directly into next season's competition. So if Liverpool win the final even after tonights performance, but finish 5th in the Premiership, they will be unable to defend their title next season. |
