slipknot was insane. i was throwing down with big ol marines.

some opening band i forgot at cradle of filth had a pretty good one too cause i beat up all the lil emo boys that would try to get in the pit without actually touching anyone.

well only been to one concert with a mosh pit, but there were 2 seperate ones that night. one for Sinai Beach which was pretty mild. the other for Zao which was rather insane. it took up about 3/4 of the entire floor.

Most of the concerts i got to are at smaller venues so the mosh pits can't be that huge but at times when an entire room starts moshing its just awesome.

I've seen a lot of death metal bands play gigs.... but my most intense pit was at a NFG gig. Like, most of the crowd were in a huuuuge circle pit. I only lasted 5 mins before i got kicked and almost died and had to hide at the side of the stage.

i guess no one was at the download festival last year then.

Arch Enemy was so extreme i was literally drippin in sweat and so many bruises it was the craziest one i was ever in it was in the snickers tent and someone climbed the support scaffolding and jumped off it onto ppl...class.

and slipknot at the same festival Corey got everyone to sit down and "jump the f*** up" at the same time and me and my mate started a pit about 100 metres from the stage where pits are rarely seen it was mad

Bullet for my valentine also at Download 04 was insane

I don't really like mosh pits, but at a metal show it's prerequisite. What gets me is the stupid s--- people will mosh to. Like Blink 182, what the f--- is that! People were freakin' moshing to Jimmy Eat World.

I think now a bunch of lame high school b----es think they're cool and are in the "music scene" per se, by going to mellow or lame pop shows and start moshing. There comes a point where's not about the music, the band, the experience, or even the f---ing 50 bucks you shelled out to get in, and starts being only about how insane the mosh pit can be, and how many people you f---ing rammed into.

Now whenever some douchebag is breaking my ribs against the barricade I throw his fat ass back into the lam ass mosh pit to see him roll around and knock the f--- out of the stupid, skinny dumbasses who go to the shows just because they can and their parents will finance anything they want.

Someday soon, I will sneak in a gun, and kill people.

I've never been in a really bad mosh pit before, but one time when I was in one there was this VERY sweaty guy with not shirt on and my face got slammed into his chest and slid down his stomach... Gross.
