13,928 posts	here is the description thing from their site: Audioscrobbler builds a profile of your musical taste using a plugin for your media player (Winamp, iTunes, XMMS etc..). Plugins send the name of every song you play to the Audioscrobbler server, which updates your musical profile with the new song. Every person with a plugin has their own page on this site which shows their listening statistics. The system automatically matches you to people with a similar music taste, and generates personalised recommendations. Here is the link I have already started a group called LetsSingIt, it is an open group so anyone can join, so please do. All you have to do is download the plugin, create a profile and join the group. their are different plugins for a bunch of different players so everyone should be able to join no matter what program you use to play music.

36,123 posts	AudioScrobbler, from a Winamp plugin point of view, is very misleading as to the kind of music one plays because it seems to only submit tracks that have M3U tags, and I make it a habit to clear tags from all of my music files. Some of them I miss, and consequently those are the only ones tracked by AudioScrobbler. BLAH to it.

2,616 posts	I joined ages ago and its really cool. You have to give it some time to make put all your songs up. It took me ages to get my recommendations page working. If not then make sure that the plug-in is properly installed.
