My (sort of) Leaving Thread

14,084 posts	this honestly breaks my heart to write, but i'm sure you'll all understand. as of last week, i have been completely banned from my computer at home. completely. this is a result of poor grades, and so from now on you won't be seeing me around lsi much. not at nights, not at weekends, and hardly after school. i'm very, very upset about this and am trying to raise my grades so that i can convince my parents to let me back on. but it doesn't look good. guys, you don't know how sorry i am about this. and so this is my (sort of) leaving thread. as a few of you know, i'm sometimes on from 11-12 when i'm at school. but not every day. i'll try to pop in every once in awhile to check on things, but for awhile i really won't be around. this is absolutely terrible, and i'm so sad right now, but there's nothing i can do. the thing is, i have to realize what's most important. and right now, i'm wasting my life away by ignoring my grades. it's very important that i raise them so that i have a chance to get into college and lead a fairly normal life. it's time i grew up a little and moved on with my life, as you all know i spend an enormous amount of time on lsi. and i just can't do that anymore. i'm sorry. this is not goodbye for good, i promise. if nothing else, i'll be back this summer hopefully. know that i love you all to bits and pieces, and that i already miss you guys like mad. the worst part is, it's my fault. sure, my parents are the ones that banned me from my computer, but it was a result of my actions that caused them to do so. i blame myself completely. i couldn't possibly list all the names of my friends here. you're all my friends, and you all mean so much. i'm sorry it has to be like this. but i promise promise promise to be around every once in awhile when i can. who knows, i may be able to sneak in an hour every day. i don't know, but right now i'm not supposed to be here, and it feels wrong for me to be sneaking around my parents rules. that's just another example of how i'm growing up. a few months ago i would have thought nothing of ignoring the rules, but now it matters because i know this is affecting my future. i need to start studying, and i need to get a job. it's just really important. again, i love you all soooooooooo much. i can't even possibly make you all understand how important you are to me! don't be sad, this isn't goodbye for good. i can't really check my email at all, but if any of you would like to drop me some mail i may be able to respond at school, my email is punkrockprincess@earthlink.net. feel free to email me, even you weirdos who never knew me from here to begin with lots and lots and lots of love- Lindsey xx ♥

6,729 posts	O my god thats really really bad... But you're right, your grades are pretty important and it's a good idea to work at them. If this means you get unbanned too then awesome! Well hopefully you get back soon

36,123 posts	Aww, Lindsey...and we were just beginning to actually acknowledge each other's existances. Wow, that was a sad, sad sentence I just wrote. Kudos for standing up and taking responsibility for this. No one really has any excuses to get bad grades. I take full responsibility for my crappy ones too. Best of luck with this big change. It will be better in the end, you'll see. Do me proud. Literally! And I never really even got a chance to be a dirty old man with you, like everyone else. I'm such a failure.
