| just wait and see kids, edge = best heel on raw, now that trips is gone
and he'll be champ before the next raw PPV | 17-05-2005 17:14 gothicvampire42 | 226 posts
| Yeah, well now that he has Lita by his side, I don't think that anything can stop him. | 17-05-2005 21:20 EnterMetal22 | 7,341 posts
| I can almost guarentee he wont be champ before the next raw pay per view, sadly enough, it will happen, but not for the next raw ppv, and lita and edge both suck
Matt Hardy should still be there instead of edge | 18-05-2005 03:00 Dekar |

| Matt Hardy was a waste of airtime. No one cared about him as part of the Hardy Boys, no one cared about him as Version 1.0, and no one will care about him when he goes to Total Nonstop Craption. Sure, he was screwed by Edge and Lita, and he deserves some retribution for it, but for people to pretend they care about or like him is total bullcacka. | 18-05-2005 16:52 ice_white_tiger |

| The whole Lita-Edge fiasco was... surprising. It came from nowhere, and that annoyed me...
I really like Edge as a wrestler - I can see Trips going on a little break for a while (I'm not sure if he'll go Smackdown) and Edge is definately the best person to take over his place as Raw's main heel. Fingers crossed he won't go to Smackdown. But for some reason I usually devalue wrestlers who have Divas in their corners...
And I could see the friendship between Flair/Batista coming. They were together before HHH came along and formed Evolution and, considering Batista has respected Flair all this time, an alliance was definately on the cards. Though, I say Ric's going to hang up his boots within the next year. Tops. If HHH does come back to Raw he'll no doubt oppose the friendship and no doubt they'll be a Trips vs Flair match at the nearest PPV at the time, and that'd be Ric's queue to leave respectfully.
Finally (sorry to lag on), but I just want to highlight Jericho. He's lost the last 3, maybe for 4 matches, and his attitude towards the WWE has been pretty half-arsed lately. I garuntee that - unless they come up with a great storyline for him anytime soon - he'll have left by the end of the year - probably sooner. At least he'll be leaving on a high. | 18-05-2005 18:41 Dekar |

| Character/concept breakdown:
Hassan/Daivari - I can see Daivari doing a face turn already, though I'm sure it won't happen for a long time. He seems to have a humanity in him while Hassan is hardcore heel.
Jericho - Either he's setting up for a heel turn or he's getting ready to end his contract and leave, like Karla said.
Benjamin - Y2J still out-pops Benji. Wah ha.
ECW One Night Stand - I'm one of the few who really doesn't care to see a return of ECW. I was never a fan of tables or ladders or suicide leaps from buildings, etc.
Flair/Batista - Blah, I don't like Flair and I'm tired of him. I'm also tired of saying that. If he turns and backs up Batista now, this will ruin my love of the big middle-aged man. It's probably just a set up anyway, to give Flair something to do before he turns on whoever when HHH comes back. We already know Flair doesn't have a loyal bone in his body, except the one HHH has in him.
Flair/Christian - Despite my previous statement of hatred for Flair, how Christian can do it so well as to put Flair over in their match is beyond me. Captain Charisma is the real superhero on the show. 5 years down the line, expect Christian to be the top heel somewhere.
Masters - Steve Richards, baby! About...freaking...time!
Benoit/Tajiri - Geez, Tajiri just completely died after the drop on the stairs, one too many "involuntary" convulsions though. It looked like he was humping the floor. I hate to steal a line from another publication, but every time I see Tajiri in the ring "I start to realise all over again that Tajiri is heavily under used."
Bischoff - You know, for someone who is banning the letters ECW from Raw, he sure does say them a lot.
Christy/Candice Michelle - I lost interest in this match before Christy even walked out on stage. However, I did begin to wonder if Candice's getting rough meant they might get a little too aggressive and start up a feud, but maybe that was wishful thinking to hope that this match had some purpose for the Divas instead of just to objectify them and give Christy another meaningless win.
Viscera - Too long. Segment = way too long. Viscera singing was fun and all, but it did not come close to making the 15 minutes worth it. I must admit though, I used to think Lillian was grotesque, but I find her okay now. Maybe it's all the victimized looks she gives during her segments with Big Vis. I love a submissive woman.
Helms/1.5-minute warning/SuperStacy/Nova/Not so Tough Enough - Yay, fun names. This match was all about Stacy. I wonder if she's going to stick with them? I also wonder if anyone really cares about tag teams anymore. I don't.
Orton/Vince - This is why I don't care what kind of jerk he is: Vince is the MAN on the mic. "With all due respect, talk is cheap...but not as cheap as that hair cut. What have you done to yourself?" That made my ribs sore. Go away Randy. We don't care, Stickboy. I hope Randy's right-handed or he's been a lonely guy lately.
Draft - I don't know about having it over the span of a month. I'm guessing there'll be one or two choices made each week and that's just elongating it for no reason. And is it going to happen on both shows or only on the one that people actually watch outside of California and Texas?
Edge/Lita/Yankem - I must say I didn't see this one coming, but it does make more sense than Lita suddenly liking Kane. Does this mean their hookup was more than that? I can't see the WWE making them work together after what happened, unless they are together in real life too. Kane seriously needs to find himself some eyebrows.

| oh Edge is officially getting the ME push, he'll be champ by Vengance as i understand they are planning to do a match b/w Batista and HHH in a hell in the cell match for Raw's next PPV...and im sorry but im not paying for 3 ppvs with the same friggin main event
Edge and Lita, i saw it coming from last week, it makes too much sense
really excited to see the ECW PPV...i loved ECW back in the day...alot more than WCW at any rate
Y2J, if he doesnt start getting some serious love form the heads at Titan, i fear he'll be doing Fozzy full time, but he needs this heel turn first, fans are finally popping for Benji so Y2J needs to return to a heel, he's always been an awesome heel
if Dahvari splits from Hassan, Hassan loses his heat, think about as soon as Dahvari starts speaking in Arabic or whatever, all the rednecks go insane cause he won't speak english...Hassan NEEDS Dahvari
Vic...its still gross, regardless that hes doing this angle way better than mark henry did 6 or 7 years ago
A month long Draft...should be interesting...and tedious at the same time
am i the only one who thinks Christian should be on TV all the time, hes just so damn awesome | 19-05-2005 15:26 ice_white_tiger |

| Hehe - I love Christian. I hope to Vince that he doesn't go to Smackdown...
btw - I found some info on the Draft (this for mainly Dekar, but anyone who's interestered should have a read...)
The Draft will take place from June 6th until June 30th.
The picks will all be drawn at random. RAW will draw from the SMACKDOWN! roster. SMACKDOWN! will draw from the RAW roster.
One pick a week per show, until the final week when each show will get two picks.
Also note that, as good ole Vinnie said, "No one is exempt from the Draft", and when he says that, he doesn't just mean injured wrestlers and those taking a break. It could be Wrestlers, Divas, Announcers, Referees, General Managers and/or Commentators.
This sort of leads me to believe that one of the GM's could move to the other side, paving the way for an all new character or a blast-from-the-past. The two GM's on the same side is then going to lead into some pointless 'I Quit' match (or something similar) and one of them leaves forever. It's a long shot, but it's not impossible.
But, most importantly...
*sniff* They might break up JR & The King! | 18-06-2005 06:51 Dekar |

| IMO, the WWE is absolutely dying. Proof? Well...
Kerwin White, Rob Conway as the Village People Cop, Viscera as the Fat Love Machine, the "Boogeyman", Chris Freaking Masters getting insanely pushed(beating Tajiri is one thing, but Shelton Benjamin? Come on!), Boring WWE Champion(John Cena doesn't know a wristlock from a wristwatch. I love saying that.), JBL getting another freaking title shot, Eddie and Rey's soap opera(Honestly, this is pathetic), Crappy WWE Title fueds(Batista-JBL, Cena-Jericho), not pushing Christian or Edge(putting Edge in a match against Matt Hardy isn't a "push"), Hogan-HBK match at Summerslam(promos rule, but the match is gonna suck), having Kurt Angle be embarassed by Eugene(ANGLE = Greatness, having Eugene win his gold medal is stupid), keeping Benoit and Booker T doing nothing(wrestling for a US Title shot when they could be main eventing PPVs), and the whole Hassan-Taker deal from Smackdown(5 masked guys with desert clothes = "Sympathizers? No.).
Honestly, I could go on and on.
And if you think Chris Masters is a good wrestler, go to therapy immediately. That Full Nelson looks pretty hard to break though, but he still sucks.

| the reason i liked Beniot has Champ is that hes the best wrestler they've had has champ...period...he didnt have to cut promos cause the crowd knew he was just a machine in the ring.
He's damn good, no doubt... but the best wrestler they've had as champion is going a bit too far. There has been Kurt Angle, Bret Hart, Shawn Michaels, and Triple H.... He is not the best wrestler ever to have the title..... How about Bruno Sammartino holding the title for 7 years? Back when wrestling WAS real...
He's a good champ, don't get me wrong... Just not the best. | 27-10-2005 02:35 Fred_No_Balls | 391 posts

| well after the GAB you know from The Undertaker Last Riding Davari through the stage up the top, it had been a few months Hasan was in injury, he couldn't go to SD from what he said, and he hated Raw, so he asked to be realesed to the WWE and they did it, they even had something like that on WWE.com | 27-10-2005 04:13 Dekar |

| Actually, UPN stopped Hassan's character from appearing on TV because of the nature of his character. They didn't feel like an Arab slandering the USA was the best thing to have on TV in the midst of all the crises that they were enduring.
The only reason they have a network exec on Smackdown now is because they had to use him to remove Hassan from TV, but then they decided to go a bit further with him. | 27-10-2005 04:16 Waataah | 282 posts

| I'm already sure I'll be disappointed in the Boogeyman, but I kinda like that they're playing around with cartoony wrestlers again. I doubt that the midget division is going to last more than two or three months as a gimmick. Probably until they get rid of the network exec.

| Oh I know, his contract expired so he made a deal to renew it after a stint of touring with Fozzy. I don't know how long he'll be gone though, could be a year, could be a few months, though I've heard hints that he'll be back in under 8 weeks. *rubs hands together* I can only pray for the latter. | 27-10-2005 20:44 EnterMetal22 | 7,341 posts
