lol - men *rolls eyes*

I've read the last few pages of this thread (being an avid WWE fan myself) and I agree with a lot of it.

There's so many wrestlers that need to take a break or hang up their boots. Beniot needs to at least take a break for awhile, he does my head in sometimes. And Michaels needs to go. As someone said already, I was gutted that he didn't choose his own legendary tag team partner Martin Jenetty to be his partner on Backlash.

I'm not a fan of Hassan though. He waltzes onto the show, rips the hell out of the fans saying they don't respect Arab-Americans, has his manager repeat what he said in Arabic and then comes back on the next week to complain.
... And the WWE is really helping to prevent racial issues...

I love what the WWE was, but I hate where it's going. JBL, Evolution break up (last year), a very pathetic smackdown, etc. Batista & Orton are total idiots for leaving evolution.

I hate it when they have their little groups and it's 'leader' is a complete and utter knob. It means there's too much cheating and too much ego... I liked the wrestlers in the group as individuals, but as an actual group I couldn't stand them!

Ya know when they started the Hassan character...i was worried

then when i heard the guy on the mic i thought this guy had potential to be the best heel on the program

then for a while i thought they dropped the ball (typical ethnic gimmick)

but now...any time the guys on camera i'm watching...hes intense, hes smart, hes one of the best guys on either program on the mic, and hes pretty friggin good in the ring

and ya christy is hot (has playboy)
but melina...is wow

hehe - anyone who is that hot AND can do the splits... wouldn't kick her outta my bed, I'm tellin' ya...

I admit, the Hassan character's good - it took me awhile to like him - but he's so annoying sometimes, and his shananigans are slowly turning WWE fans slightly racist...
... but he is good in the ring. And he kicks the crap outta Michaels which is a good thing in itself.

How are they going to turn this guy into a face wrestler though? All wrestlers are 'goodies' at some point... I don't see how they can make him even a tinsy bit of a crowd pleaser...

The entire idea is for the fans to be racist...and in my opinion its the best part of his character...the guy's from Detroit and the crowd chants 'U.S.A'...its perfect...the guy gets amazing reactions, because hes so good on the stick

and turning him face wouldn't be hard...play up the sympathetic face angle, downtrodden, deprived but now he works for respect and a title shot or whatever...its easy if you have him turn against davari...or have davari turn on him...even just refusing to use an underhanded tactic in a match it could be easy...or have him find a newfound love for America or something

ice white tiger, previously you stated that you hate the little groups, but you like them as indiviuals. Think about this.....

Before evolution:

Where was Batista? He was a pathetic deacon who was never going to be considered for any future title matches.

Where was Randy Orton? Was he a legend killer? No. Was he a candidate for any title matches? No.
What was he then? He was a pathetic looser who kept on interupting matches and important commentary with irrelevant injury reports. Before HHH put him on the right path, he was bringing shame upon the legendary wrestling dynasty that the Orton family had set before him.

Where was Ric Flair? Before Evolution, was he the legendary Icon (that he was in WCW) whose very presence demanded respect and undivided attention? No. I seem to remember him sitting backstage after losing match after match while holding his head down and considering giving up. Then, HHH came along and told him how pathetic he had become. From that day forth, I have seen their unlikely alliance grow into one of the greatest friendships in WWE history and stand the test and overcome every obstacle time and time again.

Understand that when Factions (little groups as you like to call them) are formed, greatness is always birthed from them. When "individuals" are teamed with other "individuals" they usually tend to complement each others careers futhur they ever would have made it alone.

JBL shouldn't be getting another chance for the title! That just freaking pisses me off. Booker T had that match won fair and square last night. Its just not fair. Sure we all know that Cena can beat JBL because he sucks. And either Booker T or Big Show should've won. Towards the end, I'll admit, I was rooting for Kurt Angle, but I was hoping that Big Show or Booker T would win.

And another thing, why Eddie why? What's wrong with you? You said before the match between the dumbest team on the scene, MNM, that Rey was your brother, your family, your friend, but then you go and not tag in? What's up with that? Rey was calling out to Eddie for him to help him and he didn't. I dunno what happened with Eddie. He was doing so well. Why Eddie Why???

But on a happier note, John Cena's debut album, You Can't See Me, is due out in less than two weeks and I can't wait. The music video of his first single that he's releasing, Bad Bad Man, is debuting on SmackDown next week. If you wanna hear clips of two of John Cena's songs, here's the link: linky

I'm only goin to say that i miss some of the greatest wrestlers ever like:

Mankind
Goldberg
Bret hart
Stone Cold
The Rock
Brock Lesnar (though he wasnt that much time on the ring)

The deal of Kurt Angle:

Kurt is one of the greatest wrestlers ever, though he has a role very pathethic, the Kurt Angle invitational is a way to keep practicing with slow opponents ,to take advantage of them so the people can see that he can beat a person, most of his fights are like that & it's getting rely annoying

Ric Flair:

TOO OLD!! he shoul retire anytime
he doesnt have nothing left on his tank

Triple H:
Too sick of him being champion!! great wrestler

Random thoughts on all the names mentioned in the last few posts...

The Rock and Steve Austin outlived their gimmicks. If they were to return, it would get old really fast. Their time is up.

I do miss seeing Vince on the shows more often. He always does it right.

As much as I don't like Mick Foley as a performer, him and all of his gimmicks have expired at just the right times, every time. When he takes a leave of absence, it always seems to be just before he gets annoying.

Goldberg. I still have no clue what happened to him, but even I got tired of the Goldberg gimmick. Good riddance.

Bret Hart. Best wrestler, performer, and personality ever. Bar none. His story is what is truly known as a tragedy, and a travesty to all the fans who never, ever, ever got tired of him.

Batista. I like his character. It's all about confidence and perseverance through strength. It was a bit early to give the guy a belt, but I feel he's carrying it well. It still amuses me how JR always referred to him as a young and powerful athlete when Dave's actually over 40.

Randy Orton. Never let this guy be face again. Ever. If they do, he should start looking into college, and fast.

HHH. His character is being used far too much lately. He needs a break.

Bradshaw. I refuse to call him JBL. His right-wing, conservative act just isn't done well at all. Stick to being a duh-duh country clown with Faarooq in the APA.

John Cena. Average mic skills, excellent energy, average fan support, below-average in-ring performer.

Edge. This guy rocks all around. He's great in and out of the ring. His mic-work and personality are among the best performances you'll see today. Stupid for the Edge/Lita/Matt situation though. What I find is ironic is all the "We want Matt!" chants because no one gave a rat's ass about Matt Hardy before, and I still don't. I sympathize with Matt's situation, but he's always been far from an amazing, great, or even good performer.

Ric Flair. Time to hang up the boots, buddy. He's an entertaining personality, but keep him out of the ring PLEASE.

Chris Benoit. He's been floating in lala land for too long now. He needs a break soon, and to reinvent his character.

Shawn Michaels. Go away. He's not doing anything but getting cheesy wins that don't mean anything. He's the most routine performer in the company today. Bo-ring.

Brock Lesnar. Da Bears. Loser.

Kurt Angle. Top potential heel in the company. He always makes himself and his opponents look great in the ring. Very intense performer with a believable attitude.

Edge is the best heel on Raw, the only heel in the company better than him is Kurt Angle

I'm betting dollars to doughnuts you see Edge as World Champion before the next Raw PPV

Am I the only one who thinks Christian is like the best guy in the company being under utilized?
